A must for cooking on a black stone
Absolutely love this! Bought it for cooking with a black stone so I can keep track cooking temperature. And it seems to be very accurate and super easy to use. It makes it so easy to control the temperature of the cooking surface. Itâs fairly good quality, not sure how long the batteryâs are going to last but Iâve had it probably going on a year and itâs still on the batteryâs that came with it. Well worth the purchase. Iâm about to order another one just like it to keep in my camper.

I have to far used it to check the temp deference for my cars ac and check food temps and grill temp it has multiple uses for the money itâs great to have. As for battery life have not had any complaints about it itâs lasted long the speed of it instantly gives a result screen could have an opportunity to make a selection to dim it some times too bright

Good at a certain range
I use this to judge roasted coffee and roaster temperatures. You need to be uncomfortably close to the heat source, but at that distance the temp reading is in the ballpark of the temps I set.It’s of zero use through glass. This is in no way a precision instrument but it somewhat serves my purpose.
