Excellent for Covering Gray Roots
Great coverage. Color is a good match. I’ve always used Madison Reed, but I like this better. Spreads easier and stays on for several days. The included brush works well, but it’s small. I bought a BEAUTYFACTOR brand flat foundation brush from Amazon. It’s wider but very narrow for easier coverage. I will continue to use this product.

Great for Receding Hairline- Not So Great for Temporary Hair Loss! (like from Stress)
I bought this product to help cover up 2 different areas on my scalp that I was self-conscious about. One, my receding hairline on both temples, that I believe is more genetics-related, unfortunately! And two, my hair was thinning quite a bit due to stress, and I wanted to try to cover that up. Note: I have medium-length, dark-brown hair, on the normal-to-thicker side. I am in my early 30s.This product worked quite well to help blend my receding hairline. The powder is buildable so you can make it darker (opaque) just by adding more of the product. You apply it just as you would eye shadow, except to your scalp! The color blended nicely with my natural hair color.It didn’t work as well to cover up the top of my scalp where my hair was thinning. I felt like it actually enhanced those areas. I’m not sure how to explain this properly since I don’t know the terminology, but I guess since I had lost hair, the powder of this product enhanced my hair follicles (almost how foundation or powdered makeup enhances your pores or if you try to cover up a scab it will make it look worse). It looked like the brown powder was making my hair loss more noticeable.BUT I think if your hair loss is due to aging or genetics this product will work fine, if your hair is thinning due to stress (which was a temporary loss for me, my hair thankfully has grown back) this product may not work. I still use this product for my receding hairline though! I hope this all makes sense and helps!!

Easy to use, good coverage, long lasting
Excellent product for touchups between hair appointments. And I’ve even started using it on my eyebrows (using a different brush) to fill them in a bit more (more blurred effect than an eyebrow pencil). Easy to apply and long lasting. Will buy again.

Works great! Easy to apply, super pigmented, and really seems to grab onto the hair. Iâm ~10% gray and can touch up my hairline and part quickly to go longer between coloring. It lasts a couple days until washing, and I havenât noticed transfer to my sheets. I use it to define my brows as well. The brush provided works very well and the mirror is a good sizeâI use it for makeup when traveling. Hoping they donât change or discontinue it!

Great product, good value on Amazon. It provides perfect coverage when grays creep in along the hairline or part. Not good for massive coverage, but it can extend the time between pricy color touch-ups. Just know it washes out when you wash your fact, so touch up again in the morning. Much better than the sprays, which leave a harsh line instead of blending into the thinner hairs framing your face, and the powder doesn’t make your hair feel dirty, like the sprays.

Don’t like the brush applicator
The powder looked great but I don’t like the brush. The powder gets loose in the container and you have to try to get it on the brush if you don’t want to lose powder. Covers greys well. I’m going to try one of the root cover powders that comes with a sponge applicator.

Better than other similar products. When others transfer (to your hands when touched, or pillow etc) this one almost doesnât. I wish the colour was darker though but it covers greys very well
