Epilator that works, though ow on thin arm hair
This is definitely pretty noisy and menacing seeming. I tried it on long, fine hairs on my arms (don’t typically shave or wax them), and it took several passes, likely because it couldn’t grab the hairs. Getting a wax is definitely more comfortable to get it done in one go, though that’s also more expensive, pretty much the cost of this item per visit. I still prefer this item over shaving, though, as it irritates the skin less and no knicks/weird angles. I’ll do the other arm tomorrow.For the thicker but shorter stray hairs on the side of the lips (shift lips to the opposite direction for a flatter surface and use the sides of the device), it worked quite well, done in a single pass and didn’t feel pain (note that arm/leg waxes aren’t painful for me for comparison).Note that I didn’t see it in the pictures, but a safety cap is included.

This actually works quite well. I have make a couple passes to make sure and get all the hair but this does a good job with removing the hair. It is pulling hair so keep this in mind and really isnât painless. Iâve waxed a long time so I was excited to try a different method and it worked well.

Iâve used an epilator for my legs for many years and wanted to upgrade to a cordless version. This Muvik looked compact enough to travel with so I was eager to try it. The size and weight are indeed great for packing.Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations:-Itâs a single head, and very short. My old one is double and wider so itâs much more efficient. On legs, it would take forever to complete. And thereâs no other area Iâd personally use an epilator on.-Itâs loud, louder than my old one which is twice as powerful.-It simply doesnât remove hair that well. I have to make several passes over the same area.-Uses a proprietary charging cable. A generic USB-C would have been much handier.-The little spotlight seemed like a good idea but, in reality, it makes it even harder to see up close. I have to block it with my finger.Of course it hurts to pull hair from the root – that should not be used to judge this specific machine. If youâre planning to epi your legs at home, try a more effective model. Iâd only consider this for travel.

A great choice!
I’ve never had luck with regular razors (always itching/irritation/razor burn), so I decided to try something different. And, this epilator was a great choice. Firstly, the packaging was nice…you could tell that they cared. It came with the charging cable and a cleaning brush. The epilator itself looked and felt high quality. It was easy to hold and keep a grip on. Now, as for the shaving, it can be painful in sensitive areas like the armpits, but I guess that’s to be expected since it’s plucking the hair out. You will have to go over some areas multiple times, and it seems to have a little trouble with fine hairs, but, overall, this product is great. It’s also easy to clean. The same day I shaved, and into the next, I don’t have any irritation. I’m glad I tried it!

Hurts!
I usually wax my legs but was looking for an alternative for when I run out of my wax strips. The description says that it pulls the hair out from the roots just like a pair of tweezers. I charged it up as recommended and started with the lowest setting.I began on a small area on my leg and slowly moved it over the hairs then I felt some of the worst pain in hair removal that I have ever experienced. This thing hurts! It felt like tiny little knives cutting and digging into my skin! I could not continue as the pain was terrible. I tried to do it slowly, pull my skin taut and it was still extremely painful. You would think with all that pain that the hairs would come out easily but they did not. This is definitely not for me. Some people may have a higher pain tolerance and be able to get it to work but that was not the case for me.

Itâs Okay, Takes A Few Go Oversâ¦
I mightâve had higher expectations? It gets the hairs, but it sometimes takes a few go overs & I expected the pain, so that doesnât really bother me. But just the amount of go overs drives me wild (esp if your hair doesnât all grow in one way), I think a razor is so much faster, no pain, & smoother/closer shave.So this was a miss for me!!This is cool if youâre too lazy run some water though & got energy/time to be going over your legs multiple times. I just find it inconvenient & requires way more effort than shaving lol.It doesnât put me off epilators, but this one in particular might not the be the one for me.

Works really well on my armpits, as my hair is much thicker there. It doesn’t work well on my legs because my leg hair is very fine. Using an epilator is very convenient and efficient, and I prefer it more than a shaver because the epilator plucks the hair from the root. It hurts a little but if you’re used to plucking your armpits with tweezers – you’ll be fine. The size perfectly fits my small hands and it’s comfortable to use. There are 2 settings and I use the lowest setting. It’s especially good for travelling. I highly recommend this product!

I used this on my legs as soon as I opened it.. does a pretty good job. Iâm not sure if I am holding it right as had to go over the same area several times oftenI can see how it would be good for face & underarms⦠using on my legs was painful enough so no way I could survive using it on my bikini area⦠hurting just thinking about itI got quite the ab workout (from bracing ð) just using it on my legsHas 2 speeds.. didnât run out of charge on my long legs.. Still going strong
