A MUST have for all chicken coops
SO easy to use. Seriously just cut open, dump out in chicken coop, and evenly distribute with a raker. Sprinkle some nesting herbs on top for some extra freshness, but this product already smells clean and feels nice and fluffy. Work well with the deep litter method.

Get a little bit of everything.
I would say the majority of this bedding is uniform shavings. However, I would say about 5% is larger pieces of wood, woodchips, dust and I did find fine plastic. Not an insanely large issue, but worth mentioning to potential buyers that there is a very small issue with quality control. That being said, the price is right – can be shipped right to my door and for the most part, is what it says it is. I will still purchase in the future.

Laying box approved!
I use these in my chickens laying boxes, and after trying straw, these are so much softer and they do not have a strong smell. The size of them are not too big, but not too small so I donât worry about the chickens eating them and theyâre able to shape their little nest the way they want it. Also, this bag has lasted me pretty long because itâs compacted so much in there very durable. Flakes!
