Helps read politicians and recognize their personalities.
Gave a 5. Still need to put some practices into use. But, its a good book for making an evaluation on a person ESPECIALLY if you are not street smart. BUT…..BUT…..you need to read and understand and maintain the info given and use it!!! You will or can learn how people are and what they are doing and why they do it. Its a GREAT book for reading politicians just line the current (2025) POTUS. It helps you quickly see who’s a douche or not!!

    Great Book, Poor Editing
I thoroughly enjoyed this read. King is incredibly insightful, making sure that the reader identifies that each of the skills/lessons/techniques discussed should be used in conjunction with one another, not as a “one stop solution”. The way that the book progresses makes it a fairly easy read. Each chapter builds off the next. The editing has plenty of room for improvement. The book was printed with larger text and wide margins which is not really an issue, just something I don’t see often in these types of books. There is at least one typo/grammatical error in every chapter. Going so far as that there was a “>” instead of a “?” at the end of a sentence. The typos were fairly major, sometimes where an entire word would be missing from a sentence. Not a major issue but a bit of a nuisance. Finally, I would say once every 2 pages there would be a line where the space between words was similar to that of pressing tab in between each word.Overall a great read and very useful book, I already ordered another book from this series.

    ok
“Read People Like a Book: How to Analyze, Understand, and Predict People’s Emotions, Thoughts, Intentions, and Behaviors (How to be More Likable and Charismatic)” offers an insightful exploration into the realm of human behavior, but it falls short of delivering a truly comprehensive guide. The book’s strength lies in its attempt to demystify the intricacies of interpersonal dynamics. The author makes a commendable effort to break down the nuances of reading people, offering practical tips and strategies. The content is accessible, making it suitable for readers who are new to the subject. However, the promise of understanding and predicting people’s emotions, thoughts, intentions, and behaviors is a lofty one, and the book struggles to fully deliver on this ambitious goal. While there are valuable nuggets of wisdom scattered throughout, the depth of analysis often feels lacking. Some concepts are presented in a superficial manner, leaving the reader craving more detailed insights and real-world examples.Additionally, the title suggests a focus on enhancing likability and charisma, but the practical applications for achieving these qualities are somewhat limited. More concrete advice on improving social skills and fostering genuine connections would have been beneficial. The writing style is straightforward, but at times, it lacks the engaging and dynamic quality that could have brought the subject matter to life. The book could benefit from a more engaging narrative to keep readers consistently intrigued. In conclusion, “Read People Like a Book” is a decent introduction to the art of understanding human behavior, but it doesn’t fully live up to its ambitious title. While there are valuable takeaways, the lack of depth and a somewhat underwhelming exploration of likability and charisma leave room for improvement. It’s a three-star read that provides a foundation but falls short of being a definitive guide in the realm of interpersonal insight.
