My Dog Loves This Food â Great Quality and Value
Iâve been feeding my dog Hillâs Science Diet Chicken & Barley dry food for a few months now, and he absolutely loves it. The kibble is small enough for him to easily chew, and he seems to really enjoy the taste. Itâs nice to know Iâm giving him food thatâs not only tasty but also full of good nutrition.Since switching to this food, Iâve noticed a few positive changes. His coat is shinier, and his energy levels are up. Heâs been more playful and active, which is awesome. Heâs also had no stomach issues at all, which I was a little concerned about when trying a new brand.The 45 lb bag is a great deal, especially for the quality of food youâre getting. It lasts a good while, and I donât have to worry about running out too quickly. Overall, I feel really good about this food because itâs healthy, my dog loves it, and itâs easy on my wallet. If youâre looking for reliable, high-quality dog food, Iâd definitely recommend Hillâs Science Diet!

All of my dogs love this food. They never seem to have a problem eating it. In addition to that, my vet even recommended I use this food to feed them. I like how the food doesnât have a potent dog food smell to it.

Reliably Good Nutrition .. and tiny bite size
We have been feeding this formulation of Hills to my dogs across 25 years. Multiple vets have told me that they believe it to be consistently healthiest and most of their patients/dogs who have lived exceptionally long lives have eaten this stuff. Love that it comes in these small bites for smaller dogs. One tablespoon of cooked ground chicken, with juice, on top.of this kibble Nd even the pickiest dog I’ve ever encountered is happy. I have had small breeds rescues who wouldn’t eat anything.. anything.. except this with the magic teaspoon of ground meat/juice on top. Nobody ever seems to tire of it.

I have tried to swap for the ‘fresh’ trend… NOPE!
Our baby, Beasley (and… he IS our baby… our bougie baby who we do anything and everything for), was on this from the day we got him from the shelter on October 20th of 2015 when he was 6 months old. I got him a few of the other flavors, but he didn’t like it. Over the years, I have bought him various treats… he will ONLY eat Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky treats, and that is only important to explain his ‘picky’ nature below…When I saw the commercials for Farmer’s Dog – it (of course) played to my ‘guilt’ about dogs eating processed food their entire life. So, I closed my eyes and signed up for a subscription… which you almost HAVE to close your eyes because of the price difference! He scarfed down the first one of the first flavor (chicken, which is what Beasley loves more than anything), and I was convinced I had done something to be an even better fur-mom! The next morning, I gave him the beef… he wouldn’t touch it. So – I opened another chicken one… he wouldn’t touch that either! I had to HAND FEED it to him for him even to eat a little of it. I researched, and found NomNom had better ratings – so I tried that instead. Again, he scarfed down the first one AND the second one… but refused to eat any after that.My conclusion is that… if you are feeding your dog cheap-o dog food that doesn’t have the best quality, then they will likely love the latest ‘fresh dog food’ that is trending right now. However… if they are eating Hill’s Science Diet food that is high quality, then the fresh food is only something to spend extra money on, and most of us don’t have that to spend. Especially when Hill’s has such a great reputation and keeps our baby happy and healthy and shiny! <3I recommend this food to EVERYONE I talk to. It is the only food offered at our vet, also... that should have been my first clue - don't fix it if it isn't broken! 😉

OUR DOG ATE THIS UP!
We’ve been trying to change up our dog’s food every once in a while, but were not able to find something that he actually wanted to eat. As soon as we put a bowl of this down, he was eating it up. It’s helped to keep him regular, gives him energy, and has made his fur hydrated and soft. We already bought more!Â

My dogs will eat it, though they prefer garbage
Iâve been buying Hillâs Science Diet for my dogs for a while now. They eat it just fineâbut to be fair, theyâve also been known to eat literal garbage, so theyâre not exactly picky. That said, I keep getting this food because it seems to work well for them.Pros:â Small bites are great for my dogs with dental issuesâ Seems to be high-quality food (healthy fresh ingredients)â No stomach issuesOverall, this is a solid food choice to keep your dog healthy, but they are happier eating whatever they can steal from the trash.

My vet recommended I buy this for my twelve year old cavoodle, as his health is declining. My dog loves this food and I donât know if I am imagining it, but he seems happier and his coat has a nice sheen.
