Great little derma roller for the price!
This is exactly what I needed! It comes with a little dial that allows you to start at whatever size needle you want, and that feature works great. It goes in increments of 0.25mm. In the pictures, I took one of the lowest and highest settings. The lowest is 0.25mm, which is tiny. The highest goes all the way to 3mm long. Itâs also super easy to clean, and itâs small so it doesnât take up much room on my countertop. Iâve been using rubbing alcohol to sanitize between each use.My only complaint, and reason for taking off a star, is the serum feature. Youâre supposed to be able to fill the bottom up with serum and make it come out by pushing the button in the bottom. Sounds great in theory, but the holes are so thin that I canât get anything to come out unless itâs the consistency of water. Not even my thinnest serum would squeeze itself through. This isnât a deal breaker for me though, because itâs still a great product for the price. Plus you can just use serums by putting them on your skin first to get the same effect.Overall, I think itâs great quality for the price. I highly recommend if you canât afford a fancy one, and youâre okay with not relying on the serum feature.

SIngle use derma stamp – not typical roller
This is a single use derma “roller” Stamp so the value isn’t great. Apart from that it’s simple, standard made and good to use if you know what you’re doing. Derma rollers are meant to help boost hair growth, collagen, etc the idea being that tiny controlled punctures trigger the body’s natural healing. This isn’t a “roller” as you press it (stamp) in one area and then move on. Derma rollers just roll across and you don’t lift and stamp down again. This has a reservoir where you can add skin specific (or hair growth specific) product to better penetrate the surface. Obviously use high quality products. The needs are very tiny so this is safe and will not cause injury if used properly. Always sanitize first with alcohol (before and after) and let air dry completely before using it. Also never use on active acne, wounds, inflamed areas.

Improving my skin
I want to start by saying if you have never used a micro needling device, please watch some YouTube tutorials (preferably posted by Dermatologist).That being said, I think this disposable, single use, Hydra Derma System is a nice beauty tool when used properly.The needle length is adjustable. I used this derma stamp on the 0.5 setting (not the 3.0 setting as pictured below) on my freshly cleaned and dried face and neck. As suggested, I avoided any acne areas of my face.As you can see in my pictures the needles on this device are very sharp and straight. ðThe derma stamp does not come with serum, so I think adding serum is optional. I chose to stamp my face first and then pat serum on my face with my hands.I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I think that the needles are much longer than need be for safe, home usage.
