Not giving an accurate reading
Not giving an accurate reading. My readings have been consistently high, which has caused me alarm, the last one being 200/110. So, what I did was try an older unit, and it was 134/86.

This monitor was ordered to replace a 13-year-old monitor that has recently developed unexplained error codes. Either the old machine is wrong, or the new monitor has incorrect readings. I took three measurements on each monitor. The new monitor was 6.6% lower, 5.1% lower, and 1.9% higher on systolic. It was 5.2% lower, 6.3% lower, and 12.9% lower on diastolic. The new monitor has more aggressive cuff Velcro and is much firmer on the arm. Is that the difference? Five of the six differences are not that significant and either machine is going to be close to being right. I’ll use both to further research the differences. The Double Love monitor can be powered by AA batteries, or by a 5V adapter. The adapter and cable are not included. I have plenty of adapters, but my boatload of cables can’t provide a long enough cable to go from the outlet to the table where the monitor should be placed. Batteries are included. The manual states the batteries will last for 300 measurements. Monitor goes off after two minutes of non-use. Readings are easy to understand, and operation is simple. Use will not increase blood pressure.

Don’t buy.
This device is horrible. Do not waste your money. Bought it and tried to set it up using the instructions. After putting the batteries in you are supposed to set the date. Pressing set as the instructions say does nothing but have the date and time flash back and forth. The machine randomly started trying to take a pressure and the stop button doesn’t stop it. If I could give zero stars I would.
