Surprisingly soft and well made
This is one of those Amazon purchases where I donât understand how it could cost so little. Just the fabric to make this would cost more than the cost of this sling. Even though the shoulder strap is not adjustable, I find that more comfortable across my shoulder. I am 5 foot 4, and Because I have a large belly right now, the area in which the dog lies is a little bit resting high on my belly instead of flat against my side. For that reason, obese or large bosomed people might find the strap short or feel it a little bit small, but the construction is excellent and the ability to move it to different parts of your upper body and across the back of your shoulders is manageable because the strap is wide and comfortable. The sling part itself is extremely well-made. The lining is smooth and the little toes and toenails canât get caught on the totally smooth lining fabric because it cannot snag. That was an extremely thoughtful thing to do. I love that Somebody realized that they donât want any little toes and toenails getting damaged or hurt because then the dogs will not want to sit in the carrier, and that they took the time to line this so beautifully so that the outside is soft, discreet cotton, and the inside is slippery and cool and safe. I thought the snaps were a nice touch, there are three plastic snaps that go across the top of the carrier to keep the dog safe inside, but there is enough room for the dog to poke their head out of one of the openings and still not fall out. The reason why these plastic snaps are so thoughtful is they make very little noise, unlike the Velcro that is used for many carriers, which is terrifyingly loud and scary for dogs to hear so close to their heads. The fact that the snaps are plastic may or may not make them more durable, I donât know, but They certainly wonât rust when you wash it. And they donât have any sharp edges. They make the carrier very easy to open and close. You can glance down and see your pet very easily even if theyâre lying down at the bottom. I love that There is a phone pocket! You canât even buy a phone carrier for this price. So in some ways youâre getting a phone carrier with a free dog carrier attached lol. The fabric is so soft, which is very important for me because I have a nerve condition and I cannot stand fabrics that itch or are artificial. This is a soft light gray cotton. It is not stretchy, which actually makes it sturdier and less likely to dig into your back or shoulder and more likely to sit properly. I washed it in cold water today and let it air dry, it dried very quickly and it did not shrink. It is very lightweight which is super important because I am elderly, and cannot carry any weight other than my dog. I love this dog carrier and I never feel like I love what I get from Amazon itâs either tolerable or I accept it or I just give it away. This surprised me and made me want to share. By the way, my dog is a two-year-old 5 1/2 pound Chihuahua. I got the small. I donât know if I had gotten a larger size if the strap wouldâve been longer. Perhaps only the carrying part would have been larger. Depending on your dogâs age and personality, that will determine how comfortable they are lying in the sling, but as soon as you start moving, whether or not youâre cleaning the kitchen , and you donât want to leave them when theyâre feeling sick, or theyâre just a baby, or you just need the comfort of a warm animal against your body, this is definitely the carrier to get. Iâve wasted money on other things, this is a purchase Iâm finally proud of. I hope it works for you too. This is my fourth dog carrier and the only one i am keeping. The others were too cumbersome, or the dog could not lie down at the bottom and sleep, or the angle was wrong, and they were all more expensive! Thank you to the company for thinking of all the details and making this so affordable. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is to not sew that care tag that all fabric items have into the bottom of the lining. Itâs visually discreet because itâs on the inside however, it doesnât feel soft. I wish that it had been sown elsewhere so that it has no contact with my animalâs body. And lastly, this carrier does not have that awful chemical smell that so many things have. It has no smell at all. I think this is gonna last the lifetime of my pet, and I hope thatâs a very long time. Happy snuggly days ahead to us all! ð UPDATE: I found that after washing this carrier, the tag inside was soft. No longer stiff. And I attached a video so you can see I took my guy whale watching with me and it was perfect. I forgot i had it on. I stood with him for 4 hours on the windy boat and he was fine the whole time inside. (Ok watch the video, maybe we wonât go again lol.)

This is perfect for my needs for carrying and containing my Chihuahua Buttercup. She seems to feel comfortable and comforted inside. It has all the required bells and whistles for keeping her secure – the deep opening with the snaps at the opening and the ability to secure it onto her collar. I don’t think you can ask for more for this price point. I wasn’t willing to pay a lot because we’ll not use it often and I wasn’t sure she’d like it. When a storm came and I put her in it, she loved it and likes being in it while I work from home on my computer. The interior fabric is super cute! If I upgrade to another it will include a means to shorten the shoulder strap a bit, and in a fabric that is not quite so itchy to my sensitive skin. It is like sweatshirt fabric but my skin is super sensitive. When wearing a blouse rather than tank tops that won’t be a problem anyway.

Good for small dogs
I love this bag, I ordered it for my 14 pound Lhasa apso, and although the weight limit says 10 pounds itâs perfect for her. She fits like a glove and seems very comfortable. I really like the material and the overall design. I had ordered another brand separate from this one to compare and although the other brand was meant for her ideal weight I just found the quality of that one to be crappy and less sturdy and she seemed uncomfortable in it.

I purchased this originally for my senior chihuahua, but she did not like it. She was 5-6 pounds at the time- I wouldnât recommend it for an older picky dog, it was easier to carry her propped on my shoulder with one hand.I am NOW using it with my new chihuahua puppy. It is helpful so you have one hand free, and you know they are clipped into it⦠but I still feel the need to have one hand on the pouch. My chihuahua puppy is currently 4 pounds, very small, and I wear it around my neck, so she is in the front. It is sturdy enough your dog is not going to fall out of it, but if they want to get out, they probably could without one hand on it. My pup peed in it the first time I took her out in it. It did not leak through. With a puppy like mine, I would suggest having a second one for backup in this case.There are a lot of these on Amazon, as low as $9.99 that are the same (same color, same plaid lining) I overpaid buying this one. There isnât anything special about it or safer feeling.I do recommend the product vs no product- but the strap is so thick and not having a flat bottom seems so awkward for both of my dogs bodies. It works if youâre in a pinch- but by no means does it feel natural, easy or comfortable for me or either dog I have tried it with. Different heights from strap adjustment and position on the body has not made a difference. I will still use it until I splurge on something else to try – but donât get ripped off when they have the same product on here for much less like I did.

Puppy carrier!
Used this for my yorkie. She was 7.5lbs. I couldnât take her out to potty. Because I was recovering from surgery. So I put her inside of this and she would be comfortable. And she could move around. Strap fit perfectly! Worked great for the money I paid! Didnât have padding.

I have mini dachshunds and they fit (individually) perfect. The fabric is very soft with a nice lining. The sling has a snap for your pup’s collar as well. The shoulder strap is wide and comfortable, even with a chubby little girl or guy. I’m very pleased with the quality, size, and comfort.

I bought this in order to bring my 10 pound mini poodle to karaoke with me as well as shopping in dog friendly stores. She loves it and it is super comfortable on both me and her! I found after about an hour of shopping my shoulder got sore, but that was understandable with the length of time. I also love the style and the pouch for my keys and phone!

Great option for socializing puppies when not fully vaccinated. Has adjustable strap and pocket to store treats and toys. Has clip to attach collar for extra safety. This harness has allowed my puppy to experience sight and sounds without even touching the ground. Highly recommend for puppies who are not fully vaccinated, and to encourage socialization at a young age.
