Simple to use, works well. Way better option than standard bark collars.
First off, I am an experienced dog handler of Shepherds and Dobermans. E-Collars get a bad rap because people don’t know how to use them properly. It is VERY important that anyone using this or any device like it understand that it is NOT meant to be a punishment or an alternative to proper training. It is a communication tool. You issue the command, if they don’t honor it, you issue the command again in combo with the stimulus from the collar. You might elect to wait til the third try at the command to issue the stimulus and work your way down to the 2nd try depending on your dog, the situation, etc. High drive working breed dogs like mine sometimes need a reminder that I’m talking to them. Its a nudge, an incentive to honor commands the first time on behaviors they’ve already been taught. Start at the lowest setting and work your way up just until you find that sweet spot. Its likely lower than you think you’ll need.Do NOT use this as a punishment for things you haven’t taught them yet. Thats what reward/treats are for. Put the time in to train your dog with positive reinforcements for the desired behavior. Use this device to remind/reinforce behaviors they’ve already been taught.I work from home and a house full of large breed dogs can really mess up a zoom meeting so these were acquired simply to control barking and general disruptive behavior that might otherwise force me away from my desk. This device is way better than standard bark collars as you control the stimulus and if you have multiple dogs at home or in your neighborhood, any bark collar that responds to sound will be going off constantly on the dog wearing it regardless of who is barking or if the unit hears something resembling a bark. Thats cruel.I do own some of the much higher priced E-Collars which work well for off leash, hiking, public settings, etc. but can be confusing for many folks. I purchased these specifically for use at home/on my property as they were simpler for my 13yr old daughter to use and I wasn’t as concerned w/battery life, wear and tear, added features, etc. at home.I am very pleased with these units. I initially purchased one and quickly got more for all my dogs. I elected to get full 2 piece sets for each dog instead of multiple collars on one hand held unit because the switching back and forth between collars can lose important seconds when correcting a dog. It was easier for me for each dog to have their own set of a different color. Theyre all lined up on my desk while I’m working making rapid correction of the offending party easy. They were inexpensive, VERY easy to program and use, battery life for me lasts up to a week. Just 3 buttons (Beep, Vibrate, electro-stimulous). I only use the vibrate and beep options which is enough. As with most e-collar training, once the dog knows the consequence of not minding a command, they quickly mind the command the first time. They understand what the collar is and behave better simply by wearing it or seeing you reach for it. My house is MUCH quieter. Thank you.

Quality product with great outcomes
I recommend this to train your dog. My dog used to eat my neighbors chicken. We didn’t know what to do about it. Now thanks to this product he is now well behaved. This collar is easy to use and it has easy instructions. It looks durable and it feels like it as well. It has 4 different modes, its safe to use, quick recharge, battery life with accurate shock vibrations, easy to function that even my teenager kid was able to use it as well. He loved the outcome it had on his dog. I was skeptical but this products outcome is worth it.

4 Stars â Effective Trainer, But Collar Could Be Better
The training device itself works perfectly â the beep, vibration, and shock functions all perform exactly as they should. My dog responded well to it, and I saw noticeable improvements in her behavior. That said, the included collar has some flaws. The material is slippery, and because the unit is a bit heavy, it tends to rotate and press against my dog’s throat. This didnât seem safe or comfortable for long-term wear, so I swapped it for a sturdier aftermarket collar. Once I did, the system worked flawlessly.Interestingly, while waiting for the new collar, I used a regular one insteadâand my dog actually started behaving without needing the training function at all! A happy accident, but still a win. Customer Service Note: When I had an issue with the collar not charging a few weeks ago, the seller quickly sent a replacement with no hassle. Great support! Final Thoughts: A solid training tool, but Iâd recommend using a different collar for comfort and safety. With that small adjustment, itâs been very effective. â â â â â (4/5) â Works great, just needs a collar upgrade!

NOT EFFECTIVE FOR GIANT BREED DOGS! 🙁
NOT EFFECTIVE ON GIANT BREED DOGS!!! 🙁 If you want to be chasing after your horse size dog while heâs laughing at you and acting like a total clown buy this collar. If you want something effective buy something thatâs higher quality!! I had this collar for about a week and thatâs all it took to know that it was not going to work for my dog. I have a 130lbs. 1 year old (in tact) male Great Dane whoâs an absolute sweetheart but is stubborn, highly distracted, and absolutely needs to have the option of being held accountable with an E-collar when off leash. With little or no distractions my dog is great, and will recall perfectly without me even touching the E-collar, so I know he KNOWS the command and what Iâm asking of him. This isnât my first rodeo with an E-collar either. We had an older E-collar (different brand) that we trained multiple dogs on that was great, but finally started to give out after about 4 years. Our old collar was good enough while my Dane was a pup, but I knew he was going to be needing something more effective soon. I was finally going to cosplay as someone in a different tax bracket and purchase a big name expensive collar, but as a last ditch effort I fell for the great reviews and ads for this Jugbow collar. I didnât see any reviews on testing this collar on a giant breed dog (probably because other owners had more sense than me), so I thought I could be of some use and test it out on my pup either way. Upon opening, I actually had really high hopes for it. It seemed well made for the most part, and when testing it out on myself it worked great. I was a little worried my dog might be thrown off having used our old collar for a while now, but he adjusted quickly. The first few days went great and my dog responded well to the beep and vibrate setting in multiple low distraction settings (rarely do I need to shock him). Today was the day I knew this collar wasnât going to work for us thoughâ¦.Our neighborhood bumps up against a green belt area thatâs perfect for letting the dogs explore off leash. Every now and then my pup will get a wild hair up his butt and full blown SPRINT back to our neighbors to run up and down the fence line with their dogs. When this happens he couldnât care less about anything other than those dogs and having a good time unless I give him ALL of the warnings AND eventually hit him with the shock. When I do finally shock him he will correct himself and come back, BUT TODAY?!?! Nope!! This MF didnât care at all!! It didnât matter if I called his name, beeped him, hit him with the vibrate on the highest setting, or even shocked him on the highest settingâ¦he was not phased!! At one point I was so desperate I was just pressing buttons at random (absolutely do not do this I 100% know better and it confuses the crap out of your dog) but like I said I was desperate for anything to work at that point. I also knew I was well within the range of the collar. I originally had the shock set to a 10 because this is where he first ânoticedâ it when trying the collar on, but I made it all the way to 99 when this little situation was all said and done. My dog didnât look like he was even slightly bothered by the shock!! He was looking at me like, âThis is what you get for buying the cheap collar woman!!â Needless to say, Iâll be returning this collar because in an emergency situation or high distraction setting it obviously just isnât effective. I also donât want to teach him that listening is optional. To be fair, a majority of collars arenât super effective on giant breed dogs, so Iâm not surprised this one didnât work out for us. It may be a great if your dog did only need the beep, vibrate, or has almost perfect recall skills even in a high distraction setting. I could see this collar being more effective on smaller dogs. I do think thereâs promise for this collar, but itâs just not meant for x-large or giant breed dogs. I do like that this company is trying to make E-Collars more affordable and not have such a high barrier of entry to these types of training tools. If this truly was the only E-collar someone could afford I think it would still be a decent training tool to start your dog on, and much better than no E-Collar at all. Yes, Iâm sad AF because I did just purchase a $300 Dogtra collar before writing this review.

Excelente producto.
