A little about Samson, I am a chemist with an entrepreneurial spirit. As a chemist, I am always reading about the newest breakthroughs. I get very excited when I find a new technology to help mankind. I am also entering my forties and have watched my hairline go the way of my father and grandfathers. I was understandably skeptical when I came across an article claiming that scientists had accidentally discovered a new method for treating hair loss. I read the research to evaluate it for myself. I continued researching 2-deoxy-D-ribose (2dDr) and found it is used as a wound dressing to initiate healing, even working on diabetics. 2dDr is also the sugar that makes up our DNA.

Once I had done my investigation into 2dDr, I was very excited to try it. I started by mimicking the formula that was used in the initial study. This formula may have been ok for mice in a lab but would not work for people in the real world. It left a dry flaky residue, which is the problem with the other 2ddr products that have sprung up on the market. I set to work using my years of experience in product development to make a new formula. After multiple iterations, I had a formula that I was proud of. I called Samson’s formula, it does not leave flakes or a greasy residue. I used it for a few weeks and was happy to report that there was no initial shedding period. Also, I noticed a reduction in the amount of hair that I was losing to natural daily shedding.
