Just THANK YOU for making this product, both the shampoo and conditioner. I have suffered for years with FL hard water. So far, I have used it once and the results are incredible. As far as delivery and packaging – no issues, no leakage. Smells pleasant but not overpowering (and I’m really sensitive to scents).The conditioner specifically – I have a lot of fine hair so I only used less than a dime-size amount of conditioner. It’s like butter for your hair and it’s so gratifying to feel how smooth your hair feels when it’s rinsing out. Unlike other conditioners, after you rinse it out, your hair stays smooth. When I run a brush through, less hair comes out because there isn’t that “automatic tangle factor” you get with hard water. My hair is soft, light, fluffy and full. Day three after one wash, my hair is not oily, flat, brittle, or heavy. I have already recommended this shampoo and conditioner to my neighbors. The price point is perfect and reasonable. I enjoy washing my hair again, and you should, too.

I’ve been using this gem for a few years now. I found it when I started my natural hair journey a few years back after I had some bleach damage & was trying to restore my hairs health. It’s been in my shower ever since and I probably only buy it twice a year because a little goes a LONG way with this, you seriously don’t need much. I put some on my finger tip and run it through my mid to my ends lol, and I have long thicker hair.Whether I wear my hair natural or straight/styled, this stuff just works. It’s like water for my hair lol. I don’t know how else to describe it.My hair seems to love it and it goes on like butter. I instantly feel it melt into my hair and leave it so soft and smooth.I personally shampoo my hair first, then condition it with a different shampoo and conditioner that I’ve also used for years and has grown my hair and kept it healthy, and then once I wash out most of the conditioner, I use this Mielle conditioner as a leave in. Sometimes I’ll use it on top of my other conditioner and then rinse and put more in as a leave in. Just depends on how I’m feeling and how my hair is doing. When I travel I usually just use this conditioner to keep it simple. But it’s been in my routine for years now and I’ve recommended it to all my friends because it’s just so good.I’ve had my hair bleached again and also went back darker again in the past few years and my hair has stayed healthy through it all. My stylist always comments on how healthy my hair is.This stuff is truly a gem and the ingredients and natural ingredients in it just make it even better. My hair stays growing, healthy, soft and smooth. Even when I wear it natural. I’ve tried a ton of other natural products, products way more expensive & none of them do what this does. For all low porosity hair, not just curlies!
I’m starting this review with a desperate plea to Mielle- please make this in bigger product sizes! I go through it so fast and I’d love to buy it in a 16 or 24 oz size!I have extremely fine (yet thick) low porosity 2A hair. When I say low porosity I mean it. I can’t color my hair because the color won’t penetrate the cuticle. Every product lays on my hair and leaves my hair greasy and nasty. This product is amazing. It smells like heaven. It doesn’t break out my sensitive skin. It has amazing slip, and I can rub it in to moisturize my scalp and it rinses clean without making my hair oily. This is a huge deal because I’ve only ever been able to use conditioner on my ends. I use this as a rinse out conditioner, and wash every 2-3 days (low porosity+oily scalp problems).My dream is them making a version thin enough to put in a 32 oz pump bottle instead of a tub. This thicker version makes a great mask but I go through it too quickly using it as a rinse out. Thin it so it’s easier to distribute in thick hair and it will be absolute perfection!I think the market for low porosity products is hugely untapped and bigger than these companies realize. A lot of people with fine hair and straight hair actually need low porosity products because the cuticle is tiny and tight. So many people with straight hair are sleeping on this brand and this product because porosity is really only discussed in the curly and coily community, but I’ve been telling everyone I know. I want this brand to get the support it deserves and to recognize the demand for more products like this one.

This is my go to conditioner for my curly hair. It is often tangled by the time I get to showering and I need something that will allow me to brush it out without ripping my hair out. This conditioner make brushing my curly hair, very simple and leaves it feeling very moisturized and when I come out of the shower. I noticed the difference when I don’t use it, so I have re-purchased a few times already
