Great SPF Moisturizer
Great Daily Moisturizer with SPF â Lightweight, Natural, and Works!Been using the Brickell Men’s Daily Defense Face Moisturizer SPF 20, and Iâm really liking it. Itâs exactly what I was hoping forâmoisturizer that hydrates and protects from the sun, but without feeling greasy or smelling strong.Big plus for me: itâs unscented, so no strong fragrance and itâs gentle on my skin. It is light, and it absorbs fast, leaving my skin feeling smoothânot oily at all.As with all Brickell products I use, it’s made with natural and organic ingredients. The zinc oxide for sun protection is a win. Iâve tried some mineral sunscreens that leave that annoying white cast, but this one doesnât.If you’re looking for a simple, clean moisturizer with SPF that actually works, this oneâs a solid choice. Highly recommend!

Smooth lotion that keeps your face, forehead from feeling dried out, and also protects from the sun
Hands down the best bang for your buck when it comes to men’s moisturizing lotion for your face. You don’t need a lot! Apply lightly and this will last you for a long time, especially as it is only meant for your face, and I assume your face isn’t that big (compared to the rest of you). It goes on smooth with a crisp, clean feeling and subtle scent, and not greasy. While it’s perhaps not as powerful an age reverser as many of Brickel’s more specialized products for that purpose (which admittedly I swear by), it hydrates as well as protects from potential harmful affects of the sun beating down on your mug. So my two favorite use cases are before a workout (keeps my face and forehead from feeling dried out) and secondly, during yardwork. And this is that time of year for it (as of this writing). I know I’ll get burnt in areas I’m not covered by clothing if I’m out there long enough. Chances are your face is the most exposed part of your own self when you’re outside, so why not use a product with high quality, well researched ingredients that is specialized to protect it from the sun? (Note: Don’t forget to also dab a little extra on tops of your ears, and the back of your neck when you’re planning to be outside)

Great Daily Moisturizer That Holds Up Outdoors
The Brickell Daily Defense SPF 20 Face Moisturizer has been a solid addition to my routine, especially as Iâve been spending more time outdoors. With the weather getting nicer, I wanted a lightweight daily moisturizer that provides sun protection without feeling greasy or heavy. This product does exactly that.It absorbs quickly, doesnât leave a residue like some SPF moisturizers, and feels comfortable on the skin. Iâve even taken it out on runs, and it holds up wellâno excessive sweating it off or feeling like my skin is suffocating under a thick layer of product. I have oily skin, and a big worry was about clogging my pores. It offers protection and I’ve not had any adverse issues with that, so I appreciate that itâs oil-free.I’m surprised how far this should go given the size of the product (3.4 oz is a surprising amount with how much you use). It’s mostly odorless, and seems to stack well with other Brickell products I use. Admittedly, I went with this product for the sun-care more than the moisturizing aspect of it. I’ve not felt any issues with sunburns being outside, but only time will tell if it helps avoid premature aging. In my book, 20SPF is better than the 15 most have, and the moisturizing is a nice plus. Iâll continue using it throughout the summer and update my review if I need to.

Not your father or grandfather’s zinc oxide sunscreen!
First, I like that the Brickell Men’s Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer for Men is unscented option. Personally, I donât like battling product scents: body wash, deodorant, cologne, moisturizer, etc. so to the extent I can, I minimize using scented products. So Brickellâs unscented facial moisturizer is perfect in that regard for me.Second, I really like how quickly the product absorbs into my skin. There is nothing worse than having to spend a lot of time working a product in, that is not the case with Brickell Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer. This is very nice for me as I am bald and therefore apply the product from the back of my head, down the front of my neck, covering my scalp, ears, face, nose and most of my neck in the process. Fortunately, a little dallop goes a long way!Next, after I have applied the moisturizer, there is no greasy residue left behind. The moisturizer is completely absorbed leaving my skin soft and smooth to the touch (see photos).Have used other brands of facial moisturizer with sunscreen. I was a bit curious how this one with zinc oxide would work…flashbacks to may days as a pool lifeguard with the heavy, white zinc oxide cream of the day slathered on my nose and ears especially. Although this product is reminiscently the same color, it is not heavy like the older zinc oxide products I mentioned, rather it is light, and as stated above absorbs readily.Having used Brickell Daily Essential Facial Moisturizer for some time, I feel it helps my skin feel and appear more supple and soft. And although only SPF20 (compared to SPF50 of the older products) it helps protect me from the ravages of the sun. It is my hope that the combination of the sunscreen and moisturizing properties of Brickell’s Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer will help combat and delay or at least minimize the noticeably of wrinkles and sun-related damage as I age.My experience using the Brickell Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer for Men has been excellent. I will continue using Brickell Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer to protect my bald head and face, and highly recommend it to others.

It absorbs quickly, feels light on the skin, and doesnât leave any greasy residueâjust a smooth, hydrated feel that lasts all day. I purchased this product for the first time and while I have not formed a judgement yet on the actual moisturiser (though it seems ok though It has a slightly chemical scent) what would probably prevent me from purchasing this again is the poor design of the bottle it comes in. Itâs pretty expensive as the bottle is quite small and so you only need to apply a small amount. However, due to the rigidity of the bottle you have to squeeze quite hard or shake it quite stridently to get anything out. Then of course half the contents come gushing out and so you spend the next 10 minutes trying to get the excess back in the bottle. Otherwise it has cost you $25 to moisturise your face! Poor design of the packaging it should be a proper squeeze tube that you can control the flow better.
