IT WORKS!!!!!
Went to the salon paid $$$$ and came out with much darker hair than I wanted. I freaked out. And Iâm one of those, Iâd like to have my hair remotely close to what I ask for. I washed my hair the day of and nothing worked. I found this shampoo on Amazon and OMG I am SO happy that I did. I swear it took off like two shades of the very dark brown that I had. I know the more I use this, the lighter my hair will get thank God and I donât have to pay anyone to lighten my hair just yet. Iâm so glad I found this. It saved my wallet lol and Iâm much happier!!

So nourishing!!! Visibly Worked After 1 Wash
I have been trying to add streaks to my hair, which is about 70% natural, virgin hair with a few inches of previously dyed hair. In addition, I posted a photo of the quarter of hair that was previously lightened about a year ago. I recently visited a salon for full highlights, which was supposed to include toning my hair to achieve a uniform effect on both sides. However, the salon did a terrible job and I didnât want to return for color correction. I looked into boxed color correcting options, but reviews deterred me. I didnât want to apply more chemicals to my hair and to sustain damage or dryness.This shampoo is AMAZING! Not only did I immediately see results after just one wash, it smells divine and my hair was softer, hydrated, and shinier after using the shampoo. This product is so underrated! Before trying to color correct, try this shampoo!

Fades Well!
After 2 thorough washes, my hair has faded to a very light pastel! This shampoo is very drying, so follow up with a conditioning hair mask. It’s good to have around if you change your hair up a lot like I do, but the price point is a little high. Definitely a gentler option than a lot of color removers though.

Doesnât work. Just clarifying shampoo
Doesnât work . Looks and feels like regular clarifying shampoo; clear and thick . I used 3 times with no noticeable results . I will go back to using my husbandâs Head & Shoulders and let that sit on my hair for awhile.

It’s meh
I had purple Splat in my hair, and I bought this because I wanted to change colors. I saw good reviews for people that also had splat and it had worked to fade the color. It did fade my purple a little bit, but not nearly enough, even after washing my hair with hot as I could stand water and washing every other day. It was basically just dulling the purple I had, not necessarily fading it. You could still 100% tell it was purple. I ended up bleaching to get the purple out because this wasn’t working like other reviews said. It’s also VERY drying to your hair and mine, while already frizzy, was made even more frizzy by this shampoo. I’ll use the rest of it just to use it, but I won’t ever buy it again. I got my hopes up because other reviews with Splat specifically said it had worked and showed it worked. Guess it all depends on what color you had in your hair prior. It does smell okay, and it lathers really well. That’s about all I like about it.

Works for subtle changes
Works well for subtle color shifts. For anything more serious, stay patient, try adding extra vitamin c powder and/or heat (at your own risk), and keep your expectations realistic.The smell is my main hang up. Think shimmer lights shampoo or elderly cologne… And she’s heeeavy. My hands still stink after 8 hours and several washes.

It worked on my toned/lowlighted hair
I got lowlights added and a slightly darker tone to my highlights. My hair came out way darker than I wanted it. I shampooed once with my regular shampoo and didn’t see any difference, so then I bought this. I’ve shampooed with it several times, and each time my hair is a little lighter. Its nice because I can keep using it until I’m happy with the color and then switch back to my regular shampoo.

It works!
It works! It took about 4 long washes but it works. It did make my hair a little dry but I saw that in the reviews ahead of time so I used a conditioner mask afterwards each night. Make sure you are following the directions and leaving it in for the correct amount of time and you will see results. See for yourself in my before and after. The lighting is a bit different in the photos but you can really notice the difference after only 4 washes.
