This is a great starter snuffle mat for dogs or cats. If your pet has never used a snuffle mat before this is a good, sturdy, affordable way to find out if they will actually use it. The size is good for any size dog and even for cats. Itâs a fun activity for pets and a great way to keep those little busy bodies who are food motivated nice and occupied while youâre on an important call or just want to take a shower without your furry weirdos staring at you through the shower curtain.It is a bit stiff when you first get it but washing and use will take care of that. It has a strong drawstring with toggle closure that works well to keep kibble and treats inside when you need to pick the mat up and move it or take it with you in the car.BE SURE to flip this upside down and shake out every last bit of kibble and treats before you wash this. Seriously. You definitely donât want your washer and dryer or your clothes to smell like dog food.When your pet is done snuffling for treats pick this up and put it away so that it doesnât get chewed up. It is quite durable but it is still just made out of fabric and could be shredded by a determined power chewer.Very useful product if you are just starting out with âditching the bowlâ.When first starting out use some stinky, high value treats to get your pet really into trying to search for those yummy bits. Try placing them more toward the top at first just to get your pet used to having to look for the food and used to the feel of the pieces of fabric touching their face.

oh my God Iâm so in love with this! I actually use it for my ducks and my dogs. The quality is outstanding. It is machine washable. I love the concept of it and how it keeps them busy. If you have a kitty like ours who loves dry treats but tends to gobble and regurgitate them, this item might suit you and your cat. It successfully slows down our girlâs eating speed.Between meals of canned food, our cat enjoys seeking and eating bites of dry food and greenies sprinkled between the tufts of this functional mat/toy.Although this mat folds up easily, we keep it open and available to use any time. I washed it once, when it was new, without any problem.

Cheaply made
Saw something similar at a friendâs house and got this to keep our dog busy. Itâs really cheaply made, slides around on the floor, and doesnât keep her busy at all! Gave it to the Humane Society, hoping they could find a use for it.

My doxie likes to root around in the real grass snd find rabbit turds to eat ð¤¢. So this snuffle mat is a great substitute. I hid about 1/3d of her breakfast dry kibble in it. She found every single kibble then got the rest of her breakfast with some wet food in her puzzle dish. Really helps with stimulation snd slowing down food intake.I washed it with just hot water by hand in the sink and tossed it in the dryer when I first got it so it would release the package folds and lay out correctly.

Great. A fantastic product. This is one of those few times when the internet wins. This is a thought out item and made reasonably well and priced appropriately too. My dog absolutely loves it. I have small treats and use baby carrots too. Small treats work best. and it collapses down for easy storage.

My dog was initially hesitant, but now loves it. Even brings it to me when she wants a refill.Great as a slow eating device, and definitely keeps her entertained. I was worried about food getting stuck (and going bad/smelly) but so far doesn’t seem to be an issue. It’s always empty when I go to pack it up.I haven’t had it long enough to comment on long-term durability, but it seems reasonably well made for what it is and the price.
