How Did We Get Our Start?
Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. He worked hard, and so did his hands. They would often split and crack in the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew – and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.

Perfect for Our Vacation â No Sunburn at All!
I bought this sunscreen for my son before our trip to Cancún, and it was absolutely worth it. We spent a lot of time at the beach and in the pools, and Iâm so happy to sayâhe didnât get a single sunburn! It held up really well even with all the swimming, and I felt good knowing itâs made with natural, reef-friendly ingredients. It does go on a little thick (as most mineral sunscreens do), but once itâs rubbed in, it stays put and does the job. No irritation, no strong fragranceâjust solid protection. I reapplied as recommended and it kept his skin completely safe the entire trip. Definitely bringing this with us on every beach vacation from now on!

This sunscreen was absolutely perfect! If you are a mom, like me, trying to find a non toxic sunscreen that actually works; this is it!! My kids loved the smell and they didnât get sun burnt once while we were on vacation.Itâs super easy to apply and itâs a good thickness so it doesnât run everywhere. Love this sunscreen! Love the ingredients, ewg review, and it smells so good. Iâm using it for me now too. It does apply a little greasy at first but this didnât bother me or my child. He just wanted to run off and play anyway. Rubs in very easy! No sunburns with this so far!

Best kids sunscreen out there! The smell of this sunscreen is delicious and it spreads on skin very well. It does not leave any greasy feel afterwards. Blends in nicely and it’s safe for the reef and ocean! Definitely worth the cost!

Minimal ingredients. Good protection.
Really impressed with this sunscreen. Used it at the beach/pool for 7 month old. No reaction. Smells really good like orangey. Minimal ingredients. It is very thick and hard to squeeze out if at room temperature. I would suggest leaving outside where itâs warmer so easier to squeeze out of tube. Spreads easily though. I reapplied it twice to my baby while at the beach from 9:00-2:00

Love the ingredients!
I give this 5 stars because of all the clean ingredients. It smells sooo nice too. Once itâs out of the bottle itâs extremely easy to blend into the skin. However, I have to take it down to 4 stars because it seriously needs a different bottle or something. Itâs extremely hard to get out. I have to use both my hands to get it to squeeze out. I will definitely buy again but the bottle needs improvement for better ease of getting to the product.

Great formula and sun protection
This stuff is wonderful. I love that itâs only one ingredient and that it goes on clear. It is a bit greasy once itâs been put on but thatâs something that I can look past since it protects my skin so well. I was in the sun for 5 hours or so and applied this sunscreen twice. My shoulders barely burned but that was it. It has a nice smell also that isnât overpowering. I didnât realize it was scented when I bought it so this may not be a good choice for someone with allergies to fragrances. This is my new favorite sunscreen
