this is not my first one, and my experience is that when it comes to monitors like this, you need a big screen. whoever needs to take blood pressure etc., are olders normally, and they need to see better with the hlep of a bigger screen. and easier to access functionality, the easier the better. like 1 click to show numbers

â NICE SET UP WITH MULTIPLE CUFF SIZES â â CANNOT GET PLACEMENT RIGHT TO READ!
My elderly parents had been asking about getting one of these for the longest time.I wanted to get one that was relatively easy to use and operate, as well as function and read accurately.Perhaps I am just not putting the cuff on correctly, or maybe the size of my arm is somewhere in between the sizes of available cuffs, but I cannot manage to get a reading on myself, at all. The cuff inflates, and the machine shows the increasing pressure and it detects a pulse, but just before it can get a reading, it keeps throwing an error #1 â which according to the manual, is an error for when the cuff is too loose, not placed right, or when the machine simply cannot detect a heartbeat. Rather frustrating.â NICE SET UP: the meter itself is great quality. it comes with batteries that will need to be charged, a charging cord, three different sized cuffs, ranging from a small child to a large adult size, as well as a user instructional manual. The meter has the ability to keep memory, so you can keep track of your readings over time.â LARGE DISPLAY: the LED digital display on the meter is nice and large The number read out clearly on the screen and the icons and symbols are easy to understand and recognize.â BATTERY + POWER: The meter comes with four batteries that can be charged, as well as a power cord that has a USB end plug. So, this can be used with batteries or by power cord. FYI – it will need to be charged first if you intend to use it by batteries.â CONFUSING CUFFS: The way the cuffs are designed, there is a metal looping bar that is intended to be used when wrapping the cuffs around your arm, but the manual doesnt exactly explain, very clearly, how these cuffs are supposed to be wrapped. I am a small, petite female, that is too large for the smallest cuff. but yet too small for the medium sized cuff. I tried to use the medium sized cuff. but there is so much excess cuff left over that is not able to be secured or wrapped around the arm in anyway, that the meter continues to throw errors saying the cuff is loose or misplaced.â TAKES SOME PRACTICE TO FIGURE OUT: I suppose that it will take some getting used to and perhaps even a little practice to figure out and use this successfully. You are not able to use different cuffs other than those that were provided so, you cannot swap cuffs out for more simple ones. The provided cuffs have to be placed on the arms in a certain position and there is an area where the artery is supposed to be placed within the cuff.As of now, I can only give this meter 3 stars, just due to the confusion of the cuffs, and then inaccuracy that I’m experiencing with the fitting and sizing of my arm, personally. I will have to continue trying and adjusting the cuffs. If I am finally able to use it successfully and get an accurate reading, I will definitely update my reviewâ but for now, this is how it’s worked out for me.â ï¸ ð OVERALL RATING: âââ THREE STARS âââââââââââââââââââââââââ¡

Also they are easy to change out for someone else in the family that might have a different size arm.I did find the cuffs to be thin and the velcro that is on the cuffs is not sewn in right at the edges. So it leaves a small flap of velcro that gets caught on the metal buckle that holds the cuff in place.I do have low blood pressure and I found that this monitor tightened up way tighter than what is needed for my blood pressure. When all is said and done, it did give me an accurate reading, but made my arm very uncomfortable while it was working.The monitor is smaller in size than most blood pressure monitors I have used in the past. The screen is bright and easy to read. The instruction manual is easy to understand also. There are diagrams on the box and in the manual that show you the correct position for your arm and body to be in while taking your blood pressure.Please note in the seller’s pictures that they are showing the monitor on a table and it looks HUGE. That is not the case. This monitor screen will easily fit in the palm of your hand. It is small.This monitor stores up to 150 readings for 2 users. It runs on 4 AAA batteries (included) or you can use the USB-C cord that is also included.It is accurate, my main concern is the thin arm cuffs and the velcro getting caught on the metal slide day after day. I am not sure how long that will last. I did check all 3 arm cuffs and the velcro is sewn on each one the same way.This monitor also comes with a draw string storage bag. You can store the extra cuffs in there along with the monitor.

Nice machine, you get three bands and quick reading
My parents take their blood pressure daily. Compared to their other machines, this one takes readings a little bit faster and the readings are in line with the other machines (so calibration is consistent with other machines). Display is nice and easy to read for my parents, which is always a plus! Pretty straightforward to use for seniors, which is another win!Comes with three different arm bands which is great since my mom complains the other machine’s band is too large for her (she has small arms) and so the small on this one is perfect for her.Price was approx $50 at time of order, which is in line with other machines. IMO a pretty good deal considering you get three bands whereas the other machines you only get one which is really convenient if you have multiple users in the household with different arm sizes.
