Didn’t know what I didn’t know. The animals loved eating this. Even the bunny rabbits had a few nibbles before evading the fox. The squirrels, chipmunks and birds liked it too.This quantity makes a nice feed pile in the forested area behind the house. It lasted about three days.

There is a lot of some type of filler in it that neither the squirrels or the birds will eat.

The squirrels seem to really like it
I bought this to put into a squirrel feeder and I have to say, they seem to love it. A bag lasted about 6-7 weeks and instead of them stealing apricots all the time, they seem to prefer chilling at the feeder and munching on this mix. I think for the price, it’s a good value, and I went ahead and picked up a second bag. If feeding birds or squirrels is your thing, then this mix could be a good buy for you.

The squirrels love it. Cant stay away. If only we could keep the racoon away lol! The racoon eats it all up

Too much grass seed
This seed mixture includes quite a lot of oral and grass seeds, which our forest-living, urban squrrels wonât eat. The birds will, so itâs not wasted, but our picky squirrels picked out the corn and sunflower seeds and occasional peanut and left the rest, which of course, was tough to dig out of the squirrel feeder. These squirrels seem to like pigeon food better.

They were a bit uncertain at first, but after a while they just dug right in. I had peace of mind because I knew they were getting proper nutrician with so many different kinds of seeds and grains mixed in. I will probably get more of it next year for them. Especially during harsh winters.
