Good Ingredients, Dogs Love It – Worth the Bigger Bag
I have two dogs — one 55 lbs and one just 5 lbs — and surprisingly, they both do really well on this Open Farm Ancient Grains dry food. They seem to genuinely enjoy the taste, and I haven’t had any issues with digestion or pickiness, even from the little one.I chose this food because I was looking for something with better-quality ingredients, and Open Farm checked that box. The ingredient list is solid, and I appreciate the brand’s transparency and sourcing.I’ve purchased both the 22lb and 11lb bags. The larger bag is definitely the better deal if you go through it regularly. Overall, I’m happy with the quality and how my dogs are doing on it — will continue to repurchase.

    No Moo-stery Meat Here
I typically just buy from the open farm website but bought here for quick shipping.I’ve been feeding my dog the Open Farm Ancient Grains with grass-fed beef, and so far it’s been a win. The ingredients are super clean, no weird fillers or junk just real beef, whole grains, and fruits and veggies. I love that it’s ethically sourced and you can trace where everything comes from.My dog’s coat looks shinier, her digestion’s been great, and she actually gets excited when it’s mealtime. The kibble smells fresh (for dog food!), and I feel good knowing it’s high in protein and full of good stuff. It’s a bit pricier than grocery store brands, but honestly, the quality makes it worth it. Definitely recommend if you want to feed your dog something

    Limited ingredient best choice
We have fed our Boston Terrier both the salmon & turkey flavors & she has been fine with both. She prefers a little water on her food as well. After extensive research on dog food, I found the limited ingredient of this product & price to get healthy quality was my best choice. There are so many brands out there, but not enough oversight on what goes into the product.Companies are more concerned about profit than the health of our pets. I feel this brand has taken steps to meet the needs of our dog with the limited ingredient choice.

Only the best for the best
I went down the dogfood rabbit hole for about two years and wound up here. My dogs hair grew back, allergies virtually no more, he is a 11 year old medium sized pit mix, iykyk! No vomit, he’s playful again, his hips don’t hurt as bad, I don’t have to constantly wonder if he’s getting the best of the best. When it comes to dry kibble you can relax because you have found the holy grail. Remember sobbing on the way home making a sincere promise to do better for dog? This is it, top of the line kibble, the easiest form of superior, high quality nutrients. I buy the 22lb bag and lasts almost a month. The kibble size could be larger for larger breed dogs I feel, but overall my dog loves the taste and looks forward to eating it as a topper to his food we make to balance the nutrition.

Great food, but my picky dogs won’t touch it.
It looks like a great food, but none of my dogs would eat it. I don’t believe that is a reflection on the food quality. I have 4 small dogs, one large dog…it was a no from each one.

    Handy treats!
Makes great treats but our dog can’t eat them for meals because it aggravates his weak trachea problem. After 12 years trying various dog foods, the frozen raw meats are what works best for him, they are just very expensive. He likes these so we just give him a few every day as treats.

    Great dogfood
Researched a lot of kibble dogfood. No fillers and no legumes. Good proteins. Do your research. This is a good, healthy food. My dog is doing great on this food. Good delivery.

    Good Food, Good Eats
My Rotti, loves this food, I actually combined the chicken with the fresh catch and add my toppers to it, like sweet potato, pumpkin, broccoli with fresh broiled chicken chunks or salmon. She loves her dog food, and her weight has dropped. She has lots of energy at almost 5 years old. Her coat is shinny and beautiful. I recommend Open Farm to all.

After my vet suggested adding grains to my Boston Terrier’s diet, I tried Open Farm Harvest Chicken & Ancient Grains, and it was a hit! He immediately took to the taste and seems to prefer it over his previous grain-free food (Blue Buffalo Wilderness). This switch was seamless—no digestive issues, just a happy, energetic dog.Premium Quality Worth the PriceAlthough Open Farm is a bit pricier, I feel the high-quality ingredients and humane sourcing justify the cost. The formula is free from artificial flavors and preservatives, which aligns with my commitment to feeding him natural, nutritious food. The 11 lb bag lasts my 25 lb dog about a month, so it fits well within our routine.Pros and ConsPros:Loved by a picky eater, easy transitionHigh-quality, responsibly sourced ingredientsFree from artificial flavors and preservativesCons:Slightly more expensive than similar brandsFinal VerdictIf you’re looking for a natural, grain-inclusive dog food with quality ingredients, Open Farm is a fantastic choice. It’s a bit of a splurge, but worth it for a happy, healthy pup!

I had to search for new dry food for my 8 month old Scottish Terrier as the food recommended by the breeder, she has not liked at all! Just for her to eat I would have to add either bits of chicken or vegetables if I wanted her to eat.My husband came across Open Farm when I asked him to go looking for good quality food for our fur baby. He told me all about it and I then went looking and read reviews and we decided it would be worth a try and happy we did!We have done the reduction of 25%-50%-75% and tomorrow she will be on 100% of Open farm Turkey and Ancient grains. You want to know something? Nothing other than Open farm and her old food have been in her dish and she has eaten all of the Open Farm and very little of the other dry food (which also happens to be ethically sourced fish)I don’t know if it’s the dry dog food she has been eating for the past 5 months or it is something else but her coat matts easily and as it does have a shine, it doesn’t feel like my other Scottish have in the past. Now what I like about Open Farm dry dog food is their commitment to using ethical sourced ingredients and have a commitment to ensuring they provide your beloved furry friend the best they can get. Short of doing your furry friend’s food, this is a great alternative to that. I have done my babies food in the past and even though it was time consuming, it was worth it! Now I have something she likes to eat and I don’t have to put anything else in her dish to eat.Thank you Open Farm from the bottom of my heart <3

I just like that my dog doesn’t like it especially because it’s expensive over $100.00 for a medium sized bag There’s another Brand called carna 4 and my dog loves it it’s a little pricier than this One by about $30.00 but they claim to use basically the same ingredients in both dog foods so why does my dog not like this food if it’s so natural just like Carni 4? That’s what i get for trying to save 30 Bucks but this day and age every dollar matters it definitely makes me question the Brand because my dogs refusing to eat it even with toppers she just eats around the kibble and eats The other kibble i’ve been mixing it with for a couple Days.. I did buy it I think just over a week ago but i just opened it the other day as Her Old food was halfway gone so thought it’d be the Perfect time to start mixing the 2 for 7 Days to get my dog used to the new brand… I was gonna share a picture of the uneeden food but what’s the point I’m ticked im out 100 Bucks And this is not the type of product you just give to someone else if you can’t use it so it was such a waste another dog won’t even get to have it.. I mean it’s gotta be better than walmart’s dog food but my dog is even eating that in the past but i just learned that purina is not a good Brand and stopped but my dog liked it so what is THIS BRAND That’s turning her off she also will not eat she gags on raw food so these are the only 2 foods i can think of she won’t eat just trying to give her the best possible diet for a little cheaper that’s why i add fresh fruits and vegetables and meat but i don’t always have the time to do that I wanted a great dog food as advertised
