Works great
We have three heavily shedding dogs. One of them also needs periodic hair cuts. Her coat becomes uncomfortable for her in the Florida heat. The noise level on this is relatively low. It has two speeds. We use high. There ate multiple attachments with this. Some are for cutting and some are some are for brushing. The dogs actually seemed to enjoy their “spa treatments.” The device sucked up all the hair. There was no hair all over the place like when we brush them by hand. The shed hair is collected in a clear container that is very easy to empty. This grooming device makes a tough job much easier. The dogs don’t mind the noise level or sensation on their coats, and it cuts down the need for vacuuming the house by over 90%.

Works good but fur bin has a lot of static
Update 4/26/23Neakasa actually reached out to me about resolving this. For a company to do that and stand by its product is awesome. For anyone that is having the static issue, they’ll send you another unit. I also found a workaround by rubbing drying sheets all around the inside and outside of the fur bin a few times before I vacuumed and resolved that issue after a few times of use. After that, I didn’t have to use the drying sheet anymore.The suction is still great on it and it does save me a lot of time without having my huskies fur all over the place while I groom her. Definitely get this model for how large the dustbin is. This has been a saver for me since its furpocalpyse with her right now during the weather transitions for SoCal.————-I have a husky and the vacuum helps keep the mess to a minimum vs me having to brush her by hand. The noise level is good on the highest setting without scaring her and the suction is great. Wish there was a brush attachment that works well with double-coated breeds like the double-sided brushes that rake undercoats. Tip: when youâre grooming your dog and ready to have the fur sucked in, have the attachment near the ground and press the fur release button so the fur doesnât fly into the surrounding area. You might have to press it a few times but that’s not an issue at all considering the ease of the fur being sucked in.The only real problem is the actual fur bin and the plastic parts. Not sure if itâs only mine but thereâs so much static build-up as I groom my husky that emptying the bin is a nightmare. The fur clings to my hands, the filters, the bin, and the fur wraps to the outside as well when I try to empty the bin. The annoyance of that is making me think about returning it since Iâm not sure if thereâs anything on the vacuum to help ground out the static. Another annoyance is on the inside of the lid of the fur bin. The tiny hole pattern it has isn’t good at all and not sure why it’s like that. The hair gets stuck in the holes and combined with the static, it takes a lot of time to clean it out.I bought this to help cut down on the time it would take me to brush and clean up her fur afterward but. the static buildup this is causing makes it seem more time-consuming to clean out the bin.This would be 5 stars if it wasnât for that. I love that it keeps her fur floating around to a minimum but now dread having to empty the bin. Iâm hoping the static eventually dissipates but until then, 2 stars.

Best item to buy for dog owners!!!
This has been the best purchase Iâve made for my dogs. I have two long haired dachshunds (both over a year old). It took a few times for them to get used to the vaccum noise, but they now happily sit there and let me groom them weekly. I waited several months to leave a review to see if I would run into it any problems with it, but I havenât! I mostly use the metal bristle brush and trimmer. The vaccum allows for easy cleanup and avoids getting hair all over me and my house. Itâs light weight if you want to move it to another location, easy to dump/clean and easy to keep all the attachments organized with the attached tray. I recommend it to every dog owner I know.

Best option for the do-it-yourself dog groomer!
Five stars all around. This is the second system weâve owned in about 5 years. We wore out the first one (Cutting blades) and it was more economical to just replace the entire system.Having 8 dogs (4 yorkies, 2 Bernadoodles, 1 GS, & 1 Belgian Sheepdog) really keeps this system busy. Whether itâs a small dog, medium, or large. This will fit the bill. My smaller dogs arenât afraid of the sound as itâs relatively quiet. My larger dogs appreciate that they can sit/lie down and get their trip. My wife REALLY appreciates the suction as it helps reduce the mess of a dog hair cut immensely.If you were sitting in the fence. Just go out and purchase it. You wonât be disappointed!

Awesome device with one downfallâ¦.the filters.
I do love this device. I can brush my dogs with it and they love it and I am not covered by hair. It also gets A-LOT of the dander that would otherwise be free flowing around. I would rate it 4.5 stars. The deshedding attachment is not my favorite bc it is not as effective at controlling hair going places but it does work. The regular brush does amazing but wish there was an additional attachment to at least purchase that is more like a deshedding slicker brush to grab more hair for long haired dogs. I used the clipper attachment once and it does work but have not used enough to say much about that part. It has also come in useful for small things not dog related like sweeping up around a keyboard and the keyboard itself of my sons gaming computer.The reason for not giving it 5* is the felt filters. They fall apart almost right away. canât wash it without it becoming almost useless and they are not that cheap to have to replace every couple times you use device because they do catch A LOT of dander, which that is good. Iâm gonna try and figure out a workaround and make my own. Only other downside is you canât seem to remove the tubing for cleaning. It gets a little yucky from the dander that is pulled through it and I havenât been able to figure out how to really clean and the seal where the canister and tubing meet I just found is a little fragile. I was wiping it down and barely rubbed it and it seems to be tearing. This could be an issue and hopefully the company will make it right if needed.Otherwise, given how much more often I can brush the dogs without hair flying everywhere, the fact that they come running when I get it out and the ease of use, and the fact it does get a lot of hair off of them, I do highly recommend it.

This is great…my Birman loves it at first the noise put her off but it’s pretty quiet so the first few times I just turned the radio up…now she doesn’t care even if I have it turned all the way up..every time I go near her she jumps onto her little lounge and waits for her brush..and I have collected so much fur from her..the rabbit likes it too and so does my Russian blue..this was definitely worth every cent I paid for it…and it has a lot of attachments too…love it!!

I have used this for shaving my Persian Himalayan cat more than 5 times since I got it about a year ago. Overall I am happy with the product. It does a good job shaving and it has never cut my cat accidentally. It does not over heat. The noise is not too loud. I reviewed alot of similar products before purchasing and many do not have the option to buy the replacement blade so I am not sure what to do once the clipper blade gets dull. The vacuum suction is strong and sucks all the fine hair so I do not have much of a mess on me but I still vacuum after as some hairs fly away. The hair holding compartment needs to be emptied about 4 times during a cat shave so I use this time to give my cat a break. Overall, I am happy with the purchase except no option for blade replacement which is the case for most of similar products. If the hair holding compartment was 5 times larger then it would be so useful but I am not sure if that would effect the suction.

Last year we took in a kitten that seemed to have been dumped outside our apartment building. So we now have 3 cats and just so much fur everywhere.This latest family member has a very thick coat and trying to brush him and cleaning the brush afterwards always ended up with fur floating everywhere – except in the bin!This item had really good reviews and although it only arrived yesterday ( 5 days earlier than estimated delivery date) I’m pretty impressed.We have used it on the furriest and twice and the amount of fur that it has collected is amazing, and truly none of it was floating around as we brushed / vacuumed him. We also gave the short haired lady a quick brush over and collected a fair bit of fur from her also.Initially, as expected they were not impressed with the new grooming regime but on the second session the furriest did actually stretch out and even let us do his belly so I think he will soon be comfortable with it. The other two are wary but not immediately running away when I turn it on so I have high hopes they will also at least tolerate it if not love it.The vacuum itself is definitely not silent but nothing like the sound from my actual vacuum cleaner. The suction is strong enough to suck up the loose fur without sucking up the skin. So far we have only used it on the lowest setting and only used two brush attachments.I haven’t tried it on furniture so cannot comment on that.The whole unit and attachments seem well designed and sturdy, it is very easy to use and clean. and very satisfying to watch the fur gathering in the canister. It is light weight and has a holder for all the attachments and even a hook to keep the hose wrapped around it for neat storage.

This product is pervert for us; itâs powerful enough to vacuum a good amount of dogâs hair. Iâve brushed, detangled, trimmed my dog and it works great. The fact that youâre not having dog hair floating all around you is a life-saver. My dog is deaf, so no probe for us with the noise, but for other dogs, Iâll make sure theyâre not Artie or a regular bacc before getting this product. Anyways, for us is just perfect .
