Works great
The floor bell chimes when you press the button. It is mechanical so there are no electronics to fail. The string of bells hangs on the door nicely.

Train your pet to go outside
What a great idea. We just adopted a puppy and started training her to go outside. Once I purchased this product she learned very fast when she had to go outside to ring the bell hanging from the doorknob. The weight and size of these products are perfect. They are very durable and easy to use. I have had pets before but never used this method. It was so much easier to train in my opinion. I would recommend to anyone that has a pet they are training to do there business outside.

Works great but needs a suction cup
We trained our dogs to use the push button bell to go outside and that’s worked very well for us. We don’t use the hanging bell at all because we don’t want it jingling every time we open or shut the door. The thing that would improve this product a lot is to have a suction cup on the bottom of the bell to hold it in place. We keep it on the floor by the back door and our 16 lb cavapoo vigorously and fervently paws at the bell to go out and most of the time her thoroughness flips the bell over, so we’re constantly flipping it right side up. However, even if we don’t get to it, the bell can still be rung if it’s upside down!

Very Clever Idea
We just hung this on the back door knob so our Maltipoo pup is not trained yet to paw at the bells or press the foot button just yet, but he will catch on soon.

This was a great bargain, but my pup only finds this a new chew toy instead of hitting it with his paw and likes to just makes noise with the hanging one lol.

Love the bells – our dog comes when we ring!
We thought we would be able to teach our dogs how to ring the hanging bells to tell us that they want out. Wrong! They avoid them like the plague. However, with the little round bell, we have taught our puppy to come with the dinging of the bell. At first we stuck it on the ground, and she promptly tried to chew off the top button. We then put it on our side table by our recliners and found out that we can ring that little bell and she quickly learned to come running as soon as she heard that bell. She can hear the sound inside the house and outside, so if we need her to come in its an easy task. No yelling or searching for her, just ring-a-ding-ding and she comes and finds us. Hanging up the bell strand was easy, and perhaps a larger dog can learn to paw that. Otherwise, it’s good to let you know if the door is opened by someone. Both bells are sturdy and very durable, and the tone quality is nice.
