no diarrhea considering my cat cant handle food changes. this was my go-to food when i realized i should make a transition from dry food to wet food. she tears it up fast — so im sure it tastes good. in some cans theres huge tuna chunks and my cat LOVES them!!! awesome food, tiki cat.

QUALITY CAT FOOD
As far as the cat food goes, it is quality cat food with good ingredients and healthy for your little babies.Our rescued cats just did not like it. But, like us, all cats are different and your cat might love it. I really wanted our cats to love it as well. But I guess they just didnât like the taste and/or texture of it. This style is runny and not like some of the other flavors that have chunky fish and other seafood in them.Iâm going to try another flavor batch as that is one of the many things I like about Tiki Cat, they have so many different flavors to choose from. I know they love the Ahi Tuna so I will buy the pack that has that flavor in it and donate the rest of this to the shelter.I would recommend you try it if you need to change cat food or you just want to feed your little ones something far more healthier for them.

eKeetzen, the elder of the Feline Glamazon Huntresses, has infiltrative bowel disease, but is a gourmand. Cassiopeia, the younger of the Glams, is a gourmet. Finding any cat food that both enjoy and that eKeetzen won’t boak is a Herculean task.One of the many things I love about Tiki Cat Aloha Friends Variety Pack (tuna and seafood flavors with pumpkin) is that the Glams both devour it with gusto. So far, eKeetzen is able to keep it down, and Cassie has never nibbled, then walked away, or just walked away without touching it.The second thing I love about it is it contains pumpkin. Not only does that provide fiber, but also antioxidants. Glamazon Cassie had a bad fall that hurt her tail, which she then held at an odd angle until after a couple of sessions with her wonderful vet. Ever since, she often strains to defecate. The pumpkin-provided fiber helps her pass stool without straining.Another thing I love about it is that the tuna are dolphin-safe and tested for mercury. I had been hesitant to give them anything with tuna until I discovered these facts.Yet another reason to appreciate Tiki Cat is that it is grain and potato-free. As far as I can tell, it doesn’t contain any ingredients that upset eKeetzen’s delicate digestion.But wait, there’s more! I’m glad that this variety of Tiki Cat is brothy, as Cassie drinks very little water, even for a cat. It -helps keep her hydrated.The only thing amiss is that Glamazon Cassie won’t eat calamari from the Tuna, Calamari, and Pumpkin flavor. She gobbles everything else down with gusto.It’s a wee bit pricey for my budget, but much more affordable than other recommended brands/flavors. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Super watery food, my kitten loves it, but has lethal smelling poops. The can size is smaller than I expected but they are decent/healthy servings.

the can sizes are different than the regular tiki cans, odd but not a big deal in my opinion. quality seems good. taste is alright, my cat is just never a fan of can foods and she does the same with this one but she did finished in the end so assume it’s the same.

Great But Strong smell
My kitty loves it but me, not so much. If you are sensitive to smells, like I am, do not get this line.I also read that cats should not have high fish diets so I will be switching to Rawz wet food and donating this to the shelter.I still recommend to those who are not sensitive to smells as I like how it has good ingredients.

HORRIBLE, OVER PRICED & STINKSSSSS!
I bought this cat food for my 6m old kitten thinking it would be more healthier for him. As soon as I opened the can I was hit with a OVERWHELMING PUTRID SMELL THAT ALMOST MADE ME GAG! On top of that it has a VERY soupy consistency….I mean it is very liquidy. As for my cat liking it, it was a no-go. He licked the broth and left what little “pate” (if you even want to call it that) it had behind. He didn’t like the taste & I can see that the smell was very off-putting to him. The picture that was on the box looks nothing like what’s actually inside of those cans. The picture on the box looks like there’s nice big chunks of fish in there but in actuality it’s nothing but a liquid stinky mess inside. I’m actually surprised that this wet food has such good reviews & a high price tag at that. Now I know not every cat is the same and different cats like different things but this wet food is just horrible! It looks horrible and it smells even more horrible. I took a chance at buying something new & never again will I do that. I’m just going to stick to what I know my cat likes…his friskies and Fancy feast. At least I got a refund because almost $17 is very pricey for this mess of only 12 cans, but I gave the box to someone else in hopes that their cat will like it because my cat just doesn’t dig this food & I don’t blame him because I wouldn’t eat it either. Better luck next time Tiki.

Ace is happy and so I am happy!
I may have the pickiest Tuxedo cat in the world. He wears his suit with pride. Had to steer away from his past food as he was getting too much rice in his diet. Tried several from grocery store and that was a hard no. Pet store recommended a few different types. Tried Tiki with Tuna and Pumpkin and he lapped it all up. Next I tried Tuna, shrimp (his fav) and pumpkinâ¦..he devoured it. I like that itâs a bit liquidy as he doesnât drink enough water. Will stick with this until he tells me âenough momâ. Cats are so weird and we just have to have patience. Heâs happy with this and then Iâm happy. Such good ingredients for him too!

I’m a big fan of the Weruva/Cats in the Kitchen brands of cat food, and honestly anything with human-grade ingredients that are actually bioavailable to cats, obligate carnivores they are (or as my niece says, obligate carnivals ð). Grains, veggies, fruits, legumes, tubers — most of these have little to no nutritional value to cats. Pumpkin is an outlier, mostly because it’s so high in fiber and filling and cats love the taste, but even that isn’t more than a decent filler.Any fillers just mean more poop to scoop.I regularly foster cats from Toronto Cat Rescue that have special needs or just extra amounts of care needed, and this food has been a hit with even the pickiest eaters. It’s been fantastic as part of a careful weight loss plan, too — cats shed extra pounds pretty quickly combining this with canned pumpkin puree (talk to your vet! It’s easier than you think, and with the pumpkin they stay regular and are not constantly yowling for food).My own two failed fosters have recently lost several pounds each and are now both at very healthy weights and body shapes (cats are beautiful at every size, just like humans, but unlike humans have a ton of direct correlations with weight and health problems) so they have been eating just this very happily.Even the pickiest of fosters (I’ve had cats from partner rescues that would only eat fish due to it being their main source of food, and they still scarf this right up) loves this stuff, and despite the cost, the actual amount being fed is pretty low compared to other wet foods. Combined with a high-quality dry kibble (I like stuff like Go and Nutrience), it’s wound up really cost-effective, litter-box-effective and most importantly — happy and healthy cat effective. Bright eyes, soft shiny coats, little to no plaque buildup on their teeth despite their age, and food-secure little beasties.Oliver says it’s great for his joints and lends him new purr-spectives!
