I love this shampoo!
This shampoo smells soooo lovely! Citrusy. It cleans my hair very well and doesn’t leave it dry. I dont experience any itching after 2 weeks of use! It is by far my most favorite shampoo! It has a decent lather but I use more than I have with some other shampoos to get that same lather (makes sense being made with clean ingredients which i love most)! I dont end up with greasy hair after using this product. It’s not “volumizing” but it doesn’t weigh my hair down or cause it to be flat. I have long hair and have shampooed twice sometimes (that goes for any shampoo) and it’s about half way down after 2 weeks worth of use. Also clarifies well!

This is very nice, very clean shampoo and conditioner. Great for all types of hair and especially for my teen needing clarifying shampoo for greasy hair. Conditioner is light and doesn’t weigh hair down.

Can be drying, but clarifying shampoos aren’t generally for everyday use
I have very fine, thin hair that tends to get greasy easily, but also is susceptible to breakage and shedding. I got this to use once a week to get the heaviness out of my hair that conditioner leaves (it’s a balancing act between my hair being too dry and being too greasy) and it works great for that.There’s no real bubbling, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. It definitely gets my hair clean, but I can’t use it more than once or twice a week without it drying my hair out. But this is a clarifying shampoo. Even if it says its gentle enough for everyday use, I knew it wouldn’t be for my hair. Even regular shampoo can be a bit much if I wash my hair every day.Performance-wise, it’s great, but I have to take a star off for the smell. To be clear, this is a personal preference issue. I hate the smell of lemongrass and this is a very lemongrass-smelling shampoo. It’s good for de-greasing your hair, so it’s a helpful ingredient, but I don’t look forward to using it the way I would if it had a more appealing fragrance.The squeeze bottle is nice and preferable, for me, to the hard flip top bottles it used to come in. The one nice thing about the hard plastic bottles is that they were rectangular and narrow, making them easy to set in the shower side-by-side (if you use the matching conditioner as well, which I used to). The squeeze bottle is fine, it’s just easier to knock over and harder to arrange neatly.It is expensive shampoo for as little as you get, but I use it infrequently enough and in small enough amounts that it’s not cost-prohibitive to use.

Oily hair godsend!
I have thick, oily hair that requires daily washing. Even though this is advertised as a clarifying shampoo, itâs gentle enough to use every day and makes my hair feel soooo clean, soft, and hydrated. Smells great too!

One of my favs
I have thin hair but I have a lot of it, similar to Asian hair but I am Hispanic. With the type of hair that I have, it starts looking greasy quicker than I would hope. This shampoo helped me to put more days in between wash days. And it’s one of the only ones that have done that. It makes my hair super clean it doesn’t leave any buildup on my scalp, it smells amazing. It’s just an overall good formula. I love that acure is a cleaner brand with natural ingredients. Also does not leave my hair feeling heavy like every other shampoo on the market!!

Im gonna be really honest.I have curly hair and I was asking Chat for a shampoo with no toxic chemicals and it recommended this one.Shampoo has a nice quality and amazing smell.I havenât seen any clarifying on my hair but I havenât use this for more than a month.Now, the conditioner is not hydrating enough for my curls. I needed a lot to be able to untangled it.

I have thick curly 3B hair. I am often overloading my hair with heavy products and leave in conditioners etc. This leads to alot of build up, itches and stuborn curls that dont hold moisture well. Using this shampoo once or twice every 2 weeks helps so much! Your hair feels so much more lighter and less scratchy and dense. The scent is like lemon grass and is so yummy lol! Amazing product, so worth.

I got this stuff to clean my scalp but instead it started to grow my hair like CRAZY! I have hundreds or maybe even thousands of baby hairs sticking up! It looks ridiculous but hey they will grow out soon enough. If you need to grow your hair back this is a great product. I also no longer have shedding. I didn’t buy it to grow my hair back but I guess you can say it was a happy accident!
