Perfect for vet trips! Our cat felt safe and calm the whole time
We absolutely love this cat backpack. We used it recently for a vet visit, and it made a huge difference in how calm and secure our cat felt. Bigger Than meets the eye! Very practical!
This nifty backpack seems to be pretty practical and has more room than meets the eye at first! My 15lbs cat fits inside perfectly and seems to be very comfortable in it! I love the mesh air pockets on either side of the pack and the zippers have a clip on them so you can clip the zippers together! Theres also a couple of pockets on them so you can store catitems and a small clip and a strap on the inside to hook into your cats collar. The material seems very durable. I’ve only used this pack once so I’m going to maybe edit this later,but if I don’t then just know that this is a great backpack!

Some adult cats may not go for it….
The overall concept is innovative. However, not all adult cats will be ok confined to such a small space. My baby boy Storm felt trapped, trying to find his way out. I, myself, am claustrophobic and he probably felt the same way. I let him out when I realized the backpack feature was not going to work for him. It may be ok if you begin use when they are kittens and can become acclimated. The zippers work fine. It can serve as a regular carrier when expanded. There is an opening to the expansion itself so it makes it easier for the cat or very small dog to walk in from behind. However, I have found it easier to put him in by unzipping the bubble. Using the expansion entrance is tricky because while you’re trying to zipper it shut, he’s trying to get out! I will be using this as an extra carrier for car trips so he can see out. Also, it helps to have an extra carrier while traveling in case he gets sick and throws up or does the other thing. I am giving it 5 stars because it is well-made, as roomy as his regular carrier, he can stand up and lay down comfortably, room for a small food dish. Just because the backpack feature did not work for my cat, it may work fine for others….it depends on the pet.

It would be good for a kitten.my cat hates his backpack 🙁 It’s not roomy enough for him. It’s good quality tho. But the bottom could be sturdier. value for the price is alright tho. My cat in particular just doesn’t like it.

Perfect kitten carrier backpack
I love it, perfect size and excellent quality, the white/black is 1 lb kitten and the grey one is 3 lbs 3 months old, it gives you a idea of the size, it should fits 7/8 lbs cat no problem , Iâm not sure itâs strong enough to hold any 12-15 lbs cat.I really love the design and quality, Iâm using to carry kittens around so the size is perfect and it has 2 pockets to put some supplies, my kittens love it too!

Heavy Chemical Smell but Well Made
Besides the intense chemical smell (even my cat did not approve) this was too small for our 14lb cat, without expanding the mesh part. Some of the zippers were not well made. The overall design gets 5 stars however. Well thought out and collapsible for travel is excellent. The materials seemed sturdy enough with a removable reinforced base (nice for stability and washing). I returned the item due to the smell. (Note: I am sensitive to chemicals).

Great quality backpack, better than I was expecting. Our cat loves it and it fits on adults backs. Only thing I can give as a negative is the base of the bag is just the material and you feel the movement and weight change when your cat moves. I would buy again.
