So far so good!
I got this for myself and my husband to remove unwanted hair at home with ease. Shaving is time consuming and leaves you feeling prickly, and waxing is painful, messy, and takes such a long time. Therefore, I wanted to try something else that might make the process a bit easier and more comfortable. I have used an ipl device in the past and I was happy with it, but this one is superior! It really feels like it works, and it works quickly. The space for the light is large, so I can work quickly on a large area. It is not cordless, but the cord it comes with is very long. Itâs a bit heavy in hand, but if you take time to do separate sessions, it might make it more comfortable. It feels very durable though, and like it will last a very long time. The instructions are pretty simple and straightforward, but make sure you read through the whole booklet because the actual directions are towards the end, the rest is basically cautionary statements. It comes with a small razor and a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes from the flashes, which I recommend using. Even if you arenât looking directly at the light (which would blind you so donât do that) you still get the flashes against the skin that reflect into your eyes and itâs best to be safe. I always like to use the automatic flash setting because itâs quicker and it has the ability to sense when itâs on your skin and when it isnât to avoid accidental injury, so when itâs lifted up it will stop flashing. Also make sure to take extra precaution if you have tattoos! My husband couldnât see how far back the small tattoo on his arm went and he accidentally went over it and it caused it to swell a bit. It might be a bit of an upfront cost, but it will save you money on razors, shaving cream, or wax, and it will save time which is priceless.

I wasnât sure if the IPL at home could deliver, but this one does⦠eventually. The cooling head is the real MVP , it feels like tiny cold zaps. It took about 8 weeks of consistent use (I started low and worked up to level 4) to see real thinning, especially on my arms. Itâs not permanent but itâs quick maintenance now. Itâs a good value if you stick with it. Its easy to use and have clear instructions.

Good light hair remover
I think this is a pretty good IPL hair removal devise. Itâs not perfect so here are the pros and cons I found. It does work but takes several treatments and consistency. Note that this wasnât my first IPL devise.The good:- Itâs light weight and not too big.- Has a cooling setting. You can flash while using the cooling for a more comfortable experience. It does help with the discomfort.- Has a continues flashing setting that helps when doing a large area. Not all IPLs have this feature.- You can adjust the strength and choose a setting for different areas. Very nice to be able also to start with a lower setting when first using it and work up to a stronger flash.- Easy to use, the instructions are clear.- Nice display and buttons.- Comes with a carrying bag.The not perfect.- Itâs not very ergonomic, although still easy to hold.- Can get hot and since you hold it by the main body there is no way to get around that. Also you have to be careful not to block the air circulation while using it.- The protecting glasses arenât the best, I would consider buying better ones even if they make it a a bit harder to see.- Not for use on the face. But not a lot of hoL devises are okay for use on face.Overall itâs a pretty good IPL. I like it. I would continue to use it.

I was dubious, but surprised!
Coincidentally, I had bought a cheaper IPL device prior to getting this one, and I’m glad I upgraded. I was hesitant to even believe something like this would work, but I’m pleased to say I was wrong. It doesn’t give MAGICAL results, but I’ve noticed a significant improvement. Following the instructions and using it every other day for the first two weeks, then 2x a week for the next couple of weeks, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in visible hair on my legs and in my armpits. I am fair skinned but have thick, dark body hair (yay me), so I’ve used this on the highest level setting and experienced no pain. The cooling setting is amazing and highly recommended, for sure. What I like about this device compared to the cheaper one I got is that the vent is on the back of the device rather than the sides–this makes it more comfortable when you’re holding onto it, as the hot air isn’t burning your hands while you use the device. Definitely wear your eye protection; I even will use my shirt or a pillow to block my eyes from the light when doing my legs and just use it by feel.Is it worth the price tag? Probably. I’m only 4 weeks in and I’ve noticed a great improvement. I’m excited to keep going and see how well it works with a few months of use!

So far seems to be working well. It’s not just one treatment so it’s an ongoing process.
After about 2 weeks of using this I can definitely tell the hair follicles that are now gone and gradually is getting rid of more and more. Depending on how sensitive of a area you’re using it on it can be a bit irritating after the treatment. But really it’s not painful during the treatment. It’s incredibly easy to use and all the instructions are there to guide you how to use it. You just have to remember what you’re buying, this isn’t a spa level machine and it’s not going to give you very results the first time you use it. It also greatly depends on the color of your hair and the thickness. I can say The machine and everything that has come with it is all very well made and has performed flawlessly so far. If you don’t mind taking the time to stick with the treatments it’s definitely a good deal considering what laser hair removal costs at a medical spa.
