My navy step-dad loved it.
Makes a great gift for military family and friends. My mom and step dad enjoyed watching it, as they are retired navy.

It’s an ok documentary.
I donât remember when I received this. Might have been a gift or something through the mail. I was cleaning my bookcases and found it again.Itâs a simple documentary which gives a short history of the US Navy Carriers. Not much for details and the history are mainly high points. First carrier mentioned was the USS Langley. There is the discussion of viewpoints of the time and issues such as the problems with landing gear. Of course, WWII is mentioned with Pearl Harbor, Coral Sea, Midway and Leyte Gulf. Then comes the Jet age. The final carrier mentioned is the USS George H.W. Bush.I donât know if this is something I would go out of my way to obtain. Itâs decent and children who are into big ships might like it. There are some war shots but nothing graphic. Probably the scariest imagery would be a deck camera catching the fire on the USS Forrestal. Other than that; there are probably better documentary/books for the carrier buff.

Dull!
Consists of a cut and paste job of old poor quality news reel footage. You’ll have to be a REAL carrier fan to add this to your collection.
