I started trying it recently and I really recommend it. Little by little I can see results. It has a good texture that absorbs very well and has a neutral but pleasant smell. Using it together with vitamin C from the same brand is a plus! The magic of Korean skincare at our disposal! I have oily skin and it has really worked out great for me.

Retinol alternative and worth it!
I was looking to try a retinol alternative since Iâm still breastfeeding my baby. But also all the side effects of retinol for the payoff wasnât worth it to me especially if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, breastfeeding etc. they highly advise to not use ANY retinol while pregnant and breastfeeding. I havenât been using any retinol since getting pregnant and kept telling myself I would get an alternative. Finally a year and a half later here we are lol.So I usually order stuff from yesstyle or olive young but I didnât want to commit to a big order just for bakuchiol and thatâs when I saw this. I was a little wary because Iâve never heard of this brand but I see an immediate plump & glow after just a week of using it! Also the price is more than fair! I have rosacea and sensitive combo skin. I feel like after using this for just a week in combination with my normal routine itâs been very effective. My skin feels better and I see a visible difference. I wish I took before and after photos !! The bottle feels nice and just one âpumpâ covers my whole face. It also says made in Korea which is a big plus for me! So if you are looking for a retinol alternative this one is great!

Caused Extreme Folliculitis
Zero stars from me. I bought this serum because itâs been recommended quite a bit on social media as a gentle alternative to retinol (plant based) and safer for sensitive skin. I only buy and wear clean products with healthy ingredients. Well let me tell you, after using this product as directed, I broke out into the most aggressive case of Malassezia Folliculitis â you canât even imagine â the pain, the itching, clusters of whiteheads and unbearable inflammation I experienced went on for a week! I had to visit urgent care and then follow up with my doctor for an anti-fungal steroid to combat the outbreak. I have NEVER in my life had an issue with ANY topical skincare product like I did with this one, and thatâs even after I read the ingredients to make sure there werenât any harsh chemicals or comedogenic oils. I donât know if anyone else has experienced this with this serum, but I will be reading reviews on this serum from now on to see if anybody else mentions this happening from this product. I wonder if I received an expired bottle or if the oils in this serum somehow sealed in yeast that grew out of control on my skin. My whole skincare routine was entirely the same as I always used, except for the addition of this bakuchiol serum. Honestly a traumatic and painful experience for me. After using the medicine prescribed by my doctor, my face is slowly returning back to normal. Itâs still too soon to tell if it left any scarring. If it works for others though, good for you. Iâm not bitter, just shaken up. I personally would not recommend it!

I do not understand the hype for this product. The texture is horrible, the scent is too strong, the dripper is useless and it does not lastâ it’s an unnecessary ‘step’ anyway. A ‘fluffy’ item, if you will, it made zero difference. I only have (very) light fine lines and it did nothing for them. It also broke me out horribly. The moment I stopped using this, my skin cleared up rapidly.
