Update * company reached out and offered a refund/replacement. I am glad they did. I like the feel and weight of this drill because it doesnât feel cheap. Does not heat up and is smooth and silent. If the drill doesnât spin when you turn it on, double check the pause button because I have done this a few times now. I would definitely recommend it to new techs looking to learn with a drill for its speed control especially at a lower rpm.Iâm a licensed nail tech, I took a chance on purchasing this drill as I needed one quick to replace my Kupa passport that broke after 10 years!! I was instantly impressed by the look, feel, functionality and sound of this drill. Felt like good quality for a fraction of the cost. The hand piece felt very comfortable in my hand similar to the Kupa hand piece I had.After 24 hours of use this drill has given a few issues. First was the plastic clip on the back of the portable control box that will break it is not durable enough to wear on your belt or pocket. Secondly it started a weird humming noise during my first client I was using it on. Thirdly after 24 hours of use, I tried to plug it in to charge at the end of the day and the charger quit working. I wasnât sure if it was the drill or not so I tried another plug from my kupa drill and it started charging. I would include all the videos with my review but itâs only allowing 1. I am highly disappointed with this drill. Not sure if itâs just a fluke seeing many reviews are very high which is why I purchased this drill in particular. Iâm returning this drill and not sure if I will ask for a replacement or not.
