Handy to have around
I was concerned that one of my wine refrigerators was not maintaining a cool enough temperature. I don’t have any way to prove these are accurate but they at least gave me confidence that the refrigerators were doing a good job. I’ve used them many times for other cooling and heating devices.

Very Sensitive and Fast Reading
This is a perfect fridge thermometer, itâs accurate, fast and perfect size. Itâs easy to unbox and get it going. If you want to have a different angle itâs hanging you can squeeze the hanger and remove it and flip it. Just be careful if you want to use a flathead or tool to help you out. It is durable though! Itâs easy to read as well! Perfect purchase to monitor the different levels of the fridge to insure the temperature is safe for your food. Please insure your fridge inside is able to hold a magnet if you want to have it that way since mine did not reason why I gave the tip to flip the hanger to have it hang in the front. You can also use the hanger to have it propped up sitting in a drawer.

Works as advertised
These refrigerator/freezer thermometers are just what you need if you want to make sure your refrigerator or freezer is working properly, and whether the temperatures are within safe ranges for food storage.One caveat: These thermometers use a single CR2032 battery, and depending on how long your particular thermometers were in transit and storage prior to your receiving them, the batteries may be low and need replacing sooner than you may expect.The thermometers came with a handy small Philips screwdriver to make the battery replacement quick and easy.I always keep a pack of Amazon Basics CR2013 batteries on hand, and I opened up the thermometers and tested the voltage of the included batteries. They were reading around 2.8 volts each, so I replaced them with brand new ones that read around 3.2 volts.With new batteries, these thermometers should run for months on end.

Great fridge thermometer
Canât tell how accurate they are, but they work as well as I could hope for. Nothing flashy, just a simple thermometer. My favorite feature is that it keeps track of how high the temperature got, so you can have extra peace of mind after leaving the house for a week knowing that your food is still safe.

Nice, but don’t drop them.
I really like having these in my fridge and freezer. It’s great for verifying that the equipment is working properly and also to see how my food fared during power outages.The hooks can be positioned in several different ways so that the thermometer can be set on a shelf, or hung a few different ways from a rack. I haven’t tested the accuracy, but for my purposes it’s fine.It reads in ºF or ºC, and retains the minimum and maximum temperatures since the last reset.But the batteries in them are nestled daintily inside, so any jolt risks unseating the battery from its spot, and you have to unscrew the hatch, reseat the battery and then reset everything. If you use your freezer or fridge often (I’m assuming you do), it’s really easy to bump the thermometer and knock it down.So I’m regularly opening and reseating the batteries on these things. And after a few drops, they often break altogether. So either find a more secure location for them, or find a different brand that holds the battery more securely.
