The base and bolster padding can be removed for cleaning. The main reason that we purchased this bed, is that the padding can be completely removed for cleaning. It is comfortable for our dog, and appears to be made well. We wish there were other fabric choices available. We ordered a large for our 45 pound Border Collie.

Great dog bed, will be buying another
Great bed for my 2 larger dogs. We have a Belgian Malinois and Pitbull, both are able to lay in bed with space and love it. Nice look so not an eyesore to have in living room.

A well made dog bed.
Great bed that’s big enough for two medium sized chihuahua mixes to sleep together, and still have enough room to not touch one another; they’re friends, but not cuddlers. I was able to assemble the bed without any needed help. The oval shape of the bed allows the dogs to sleep fully stretched out, if they so desire. The foam padding is firm and supports the dogs bodies, while the material covering the bed is soft, and seems to be comfortable to the dogs. The one thing I wish this bed had are stitched on carrying handles on the long sides of the bed. Especially if you order the bed in the larger sizes. Would make it a little easier to transport around if needed — hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Dogs loved it so much they ate it!
This dog bed was received in a smallish box and was vacuum packed in a plastic bad. Once out of the bad it immediately sprung to full-size. After assembling (very easy) I let it sit overnight as instructed before allowing my two Beagles to get in/on it.They were apparently quite comfortable in it as they laid in it all day long when not following us around the house and yard.They slept in it overnight.Well, some of the night. At some point while we were sleeping they decided to rip one of the zippers out and pull the foam bedding most of the way out and ripped it to shreds. I guess it’s back to them sleeping on simple blankets on the laminate flooring from now on.

Attractive, well made beds.
I purchased 2 of these for my large hounds. They were easy to put together and puffed up beautifully! Both dogs seem happy. The beds are not an eyesore and Iâm glad the cover can be washed. Hopefully they will last a long time.
