Elta MD Moisturizer
My doctor recommended this and sold it in her clinic. When she recently retired I was thrilled to find it on Amazon for the same price I had been paying at my doctor)s office” it makes my skin so soft and my makeup goes on much more smoothly after using my Elta MD Moisturizer. A tube lasts a long time because you only use a tiny bit per application!

For ultra sensitive skin and post procedure
Elta Moisture Seal is an excellent moisturizer for ultra sensitive skin and post-procedure. This is the only moisturizer–the only product, period– that I can use on my upper cheek area without a reaction.I recently had the first of four RSURFX treatments on my face. I applied it to my whole face (under a gentle moisturizing mineral sunscreen) and it helped my face heal quickly with no dryness.I use a tiny bit of it on an ongoing basis, lightly tapped into the skin on my face before applying a tinted CC cream in the a.m. and in the p.m. after cleansing my face with a gentle cleansing balm.

Amazing
My dermatologist gave me a tube of this after a procedure and I loved it. I’ve told multiple people about this product and they have also ordered and loved it. It is very hydrating and so a little goes a long way! The price point is great as well. If you have had any type of procedure like a chemical peel or laser, then this will be your new best friend. It’s hydrating and it last all night long. I use it on knees and elbows as well. No smell at all. It’s kind of like a wetter version of vaseline. It goes on smoothly and the hydration is crazy good.

Good product but I find myself not using it much
This is basically Vaseline mixed with a little paraffin (look at the ingredients, I’m telling the truth!) It’s very heavy and only useful at night and will leave you a little bit greasy no matter how well you rub it in. I am finding myself not using this much, as it works much better if you apply to damp skin but usually I’m using some type of night time treatment, such as an AHA or retin a, which requires dry skin so I usually end up using a moisturizer that can be applied to dry skin over this product. If my skin is feeling especially dehydrated sometimes I will use this in lieu of my regular night time products, but even then I find myself using my sweet almond oil in that circumstance (which I also use on damp skin) instead of this as the sweet almond oil seems to sink in better and leaves me feeling less greasy. Overall it’s a good product and it does what it should do, but it’s just not fitting into my skin care routine very well. If you use peels frequently I definitely recommend this product, as it seems like it would be perfect for after a peel.

This is worth it.
This will go a long way. Yes, itâs petrolatum and paraffin but itâs MUCH SOFTER than Vaseline and way easier to apply. A pea size amount can cover an average sized face. I use a hypochlorus acid spray then use this on my face, lips, and the back of my hands. I would say this is worth every penny and I can see this lasting a very, very, long time.

Hydrating and absorbent
I love this stuff. It feels like Vaseline but much thinner and not sticky so u can use it on your face. It doesnât have any scent and the ingredients are basic, which are pluses for me.

This is essentially Vaseline, but a bit lighter. Ideal for sensitive skin.
First, it’s important to note the ingredient list: Petrolatum, Paraffin, PVP Eicosene CopolymerThis is essentially an occlusive. It won’t hydrate the skin, but if applied to damp skin it will lock in hydration. If you have sensitive skin these are great ingredients, just know that Vaseline is cheaper and essentially the same thing.Vaseline feels a bit heavier to me, the mixture with paraffin in this formulation makes the consistency a tiny bit lighter (although still greasy).I’ve been doing chemical peels and my skin needs to be greased up afterwards. I can’t bear the feeling of heavy Vaseline or Aquaphor all over my face, but the texture of this product is more bearable. Still very greasy, but I need to be greasing up after a chemical peel. The container is nice, and allows for a very small amount to come out at a time.I’m honestly not sure I’ll repurchase simply because these ingredients are not expensive, and Vaseline is so much cheaper.

Great moisturizer!
This moisturizer for me is the best! The quality is really good. It really helps if you have dry skin or just want to add a great mositurizer. It absorbs very well and does not have any scent.

If you seriously love your skin then get get away from this cream.. it will harm your skin.. My skin became so red and itchy after applying this.. It is not at all recommended for sensitive types

My husband has extreme Rosacea and is allergic to almost every face cream but his skin is very dry and peels so he needs to put something on to calm it. This moisturizer works perfectly! It doesn’t irritate, melts in quickly, and provides relief for most of the day. Unfortunately, anytime something works this well, the manufacturer tends to change it…..tweak it a little so they can say that it is ‘new and improved’. Please leave it alone! It works!
