Great toy!
First, our dog loves this toy! As an energetic border collie, he has destroyed multiple interactive toys in the past, and this one is holding up amazingly well. The included rope is chewed and frayed, but that is to be expected and can easily be replaced. The sound is more moderate than with most similar toys, making it less obnoxious to humans in the same room. This would have been a five-star review if not for one thing: after only a week or two of use, we can no longer get it open to charge it. The screw-together design has a final ‘click’ to it, and we cannot unclick it to unscrew and charge the device. The threads are well protected, so our thinking was that saliva had gotten into the screws, but we have tried hot water, dropping it onto hard surfaces and everything else we could think of with no success. Both we and our dog love this toy – if we could charge it more than once!An update – the seller has bent over backwards to assist us with our issue, and a new unit has been received. Ww can charge this one and our dog still loves it! For that reason, we are raising our review to five stars. We couldn’t imagine a better experience, and our dog couldn’t be more excited!

***UPDATE***I had written a review about this product (below) and was contacted by the company. The company representatives went over and above to resolve my issues with durability. The company specifically apologized that my dog didnât get the use out of it as planned, but offered me a refund. I declined the refund and requested a second toy to see if we could make this one last longer. They were quick to respond and sent me a new product. I appreciate the above and beyond mentality of this company and truly, that behavior from a company is what will make me come back for years. Caring about customers, in my opinion, is something is often lost with businesses. Customer care really seems to be a high priority, and due to that we would highly recommend purchasing here.The new toy arrived quickly, and instead of allowing free play with the toy, we supervised our German shepherd and stopped extensive chew activity so help the toy last and now, weâve had the toy for a couple of weeks and itâs been going great. I specifically enjoy the ease of charging it so that there is more play time.Got this for my dog for a Christmas gift and he didnât even play with it twice before it broke. I specifically looked for a toy that had better durability. I think the motion sensor is extremely cool and engaging with dogs and I loved the overall concept. Just wish it was more durable so my dog could have played longer.

Unable to charge after a few days of playtime
This toys provides lots of playtime for my puppy however after a few days of play & him chewing on it I cannot unscrew the toy anymore and it needs to be charged. If the charging port wasnât inside this wouldnât be an issue. Maybe a redesign should be looked into where the port is covered by a silicone flap and not inside the actual toy allowing easier access for charging.

Too bad, great toy except for the plastic construction, durable but dangerous.
My dog was so excited by this toy, but after she got over her fear and barking at it, she was able to âcaptureâ it and start gnawing on it. Therein lies the problem, it is constructed of a hard plastic instead of rubber so a dog can gnaw off little pieces of the plastic and digest, ultimately sheâd be able to crack pieces off. I suggest you supervisor your dog if you buy this and Iâd love to see the company come up with a version that is rubber coated.

My dogs new favorite
This dog toy has been an absolute game-changer in our house! My usually picky pup is absolutely obsessed with it. The durable material has held up remarkably well to some serious chewing, which is a huge plus for us.The squeaker is nice and loud (in a good way!), and the texture is perfect for my dog to gnaw on. It keeps him entertained for hours, which is fantastic for both his mental and physical stimulation. I’ve noticed a real difference in his energy levels since we got this toy.The quality is excellent, especially considering the price. I was expecting something flimsy, but it’s surprisingly robust. If you have a dog who loves to chew and needs a good, durable toy, I highly recommend this one! It’s worth every penny. My dog gives it five paws up!

My dogâs favorite toy
One of my shih tzus loves this toy and the other ignores it. She plays with it whether itâs on or off but when itâs on, it can keep her entertained for an hour. I love thatâs its rechargeable and the charge lasts a long time. The dog barking sound isnât obnoxious to us and it gets her attention.

Not suitable for tough chewers or certain puppy breeds
My 9 month old Husky pup absolutely loves automated balls….. she chases them around for a good while, so at least she doesn’t get bored & find my new hiding spot for the spare TP roles lol (she has shredded enough to make a movie set look like snow has fallen haha).This version is the 3rd brand I’ve tried. I needed a 2nd auto-ball for her to use while her favorite is charging (her favorite is like a super condensed, strong Styrofoam one).From the time I gave it to her to when I found it again, was only about an hour. But in said hour she had chewed the outer shell to the point I could no longer open it. I tried using everything possible to get it opened, but nothing…… the little tassel rope??? It was chewed in half….. no longer usable. The spare rope is a joke because that would’ve been gone same-day too.I had to throw this away. Only 1 hour of use & it was trashed.If you have a large breed or a breed that has strong chewing, do not use this!!!! There were small plastic pieces on the floor too!!! Very dangerous for a dog to swallow……. I don’t have to worry about my pup eating the pieces, because she destroys just for the fun of destruction (if you’ve ever raised a Husky you know what I mean).But I know of other breeds that would eat any piece that fell off & I warn you to not bother with this if that describes your pup.I assume that for all other dog breeds that are not adorable destruction-machines on fluffy legs, this ball would be okay for them.

This is a well built toy and does everything as advertised. My dog will not play with toys unless it’s covered in peanut butter so we were hoping to find something more interactive. No go unfortunately. Once I turn it on she goes into another room as it scares her. After several weeks of trying to get her used to it, she still has no interest. This is not a fault of the product as it’s clearly well made but it’s not going to be for every dog.

I have a jack Russell terrier, she is a chewer! She also needs to be busy, I thought this toy would be perfect. I already bought the noisy wobble ball which she goes crazy when she gets it. Unfortunately she has managed to pull apart the plastic at the holes you use to grip it and is now obsessed with biting at the holes and not playing with it. Back to this toy, had it a week, shredded the rope, almost chewed of the place where the rope goes, and made significant bite marks on the red part. So she can no longer have it. It’s a great idea for a toy but needs to be made of a different, stronger material.
