Helpful for achilles tendonitis
My son, a soccer player, needed something to help ease some pain with achilles tendonitis. If you have a soccer player, you know it is never not soccer season and so resting isn’t really an option. He said that this really helps him– it provides good cushioning but doesn’t take up too much room in his cleats and isn’t too thick to easily put his cleats on. It has helped provide some pain relief (along with an ankle brace that helps stabilize the tendon). They slide right into the back of the cleat and don’t move– functionally effective and protect him from excessive heel strikes that exacerbate the tendonitis. He said it has helped a lot.

They work! Yes!!
These Tuli heel cups allowed immediate relief to my heels. I say heels, because you must wear both, in order to have equilibrium in your step. I only have one heel that gives me grief(a tiny area the size of a pin-top on my left ankle) but with your feet, you need to have each foot the same height. Thus, you must wear both. The cushioning is wonderful. I bought a REGULAR and I wear a 9.5 wide shoe. I wore them in my tennis shoes, yesterday, and for the first time, no excruciating pain during grocery shopping. They are thick, which helps the pressure on the heel. I think they may poke out at the top of some of my flats, but the rubber is thin at the sides and top, and can be easily trimmed down. At this point, I know that the bottom cushion is what provides the relief, so I’m willing to adjust whatever needs to be adjusted. Unlike some have reported, the inserts do not slide or move around. They do make my feet go a little deeper into the front of the shoe, but not enough to hurt my toes. Now, I buy wide toe box shoes, so that may be the reason I do not have problems. I do not wear tight-fitting or narrow-toe shoes. I want to be able to walk if I make to my 80s/90s!!! I’m determined to take care of my feet everyday with calf exercises, wearing toe stretchers at night, and magnesium foot soaks. I have no pain, except for a tiny pin-top-sized area on the back of my left ankle. It’s’ amazing how something so tiny can cause so much pain!! I’m sure a trip to the ortho is in order and I will go. But, for immediate relief, these fit the ticket. Tuli’s are the most wearable and functional heel cushions that I have ever purchased. I’ll stick with this brand, and continue to do leg and foot exercises daily. I hope they work for you, too.

Finally found something that makes me feel better..
I have had bad right heel pain, I mean really bad and I have bought so many foot inserts from here and my local store ..I went to my foot doctor and had paid good money for “foot made expensive insoles” etc … And it really didn’t give me any relief… 😢 I wanted to try these to see if it would help with the pain or at least some of the pain until my heel gets better. I have to honestly say, it has helped tremendously … I still have pain however it’s minor compared to what it was . I would say it went from 100%+ pain to about 40% pain now. I wear just the right one for now in my house shoe, my tenny shoes, etc … It has been a true help bc now I can at least walk and it made my heel feel so much better while it heals which has taken a long time to do since I hadn’t had any relief in about 8 months. I am going to buy more of these so I can just leave them in my other shoes. If you don’t buy these, you’re missing out on pain relief. They are sturdy and I didn’t think they would fit my heel bc it’s swollen and large to begin with but… They fit great and they haven’t broken down and you won’t regret buying them. They’re actually comfortable. I only wear one – for my left foot. I was worried that it would feel odd using one. It’s quite comfortable and it seems to be helping. My plantar fasciitis is not as painful as it usually is. Of course a supportive shoe with a thick sole is important to use as well.
