Cheap, easy, functional
Simple. Inexpensive little gadgets that work. Might not be a precise digital readout but accurate enough to monitor freezer and fridge. Easy, open the box and put thermometer on the refrigerator/freezer shelf, you’re done!

Are these accurate to +/- 1 degree Fahrenheit? No, more like +/- 2 degrees and that’s OK. I can now set the temps in my new very basic refrigerator where I want them to be. $5.99 for both, a very fair price for a basic yet useful tool.

Price is great and they work well. I originally bought them because I have an older refrigerator without a thermostat – just off to coldest settings. I wanted to make sure my refrigerator was set at an optimum temperature to save on my electric bill. Got them just in time as my refrigerator suddenly developed a leak in refrigerant two days after I got them and I noticed early because I was checking the temp on these little thermometers. I was able to crank up the thermostat to a high level while waiting for appliance repair to get here and although my electric bill is going to be sky high, I didn’t lose anything in my refrigerator or freezer because of these. Saved me hundreds of dollars of food loss.
